We loved the property. It was clean and large enough for our needs. The back porch was fantastic and the outdoor fire pit was also a great place to retreat to.

Cozy and quiet cabin in the woods with all the amenities of home.
Our family of 6 adults were very pleased with this rental house. We enjoyed the living space, the game room, the screened-in porch, and the well-equipped kitchen. The beds are comfortable. We would stay here again if we come back to the area.
3 friends and I stayed for a long weekend. The house was great, especially the spacious main room and well stocked kitchen. The only hiccup in the listing (and it was minor) was the bed count. It said there was a futon but it was only a couch. We were able to manage without it, however. It was a very quiet and se luded spot and we really enjoyed our stay.
The chalet is exceptional! SUPER clean, lots of outdoor seating, a very quiet neighborhood. There are so many wonderful things that I have a hard time choosing my favorite. But for sure, high up on the list are:
- Whirlpool bathtub
- Fluffy bath towels
- Name brand shampoo and body washes
- LOTS of nice quality TP
- Pool table
- High quality sheets
- Excellent communication with the homeowner (plus they are super nice)
- Layout and architecture of the house
- Did I say that it's SUPER clean?
Exceptionally clean and well maintained property. Very quiet area , air conditioning is perfect, there is dirt road for .2 mile leading to the cottage with somewhat steep driveway. In my opinion fits the theme of being in the middle of the woods .
The patio is very nice because it is protected from widely prevalent insects with a screen all around. Simple touches reflect the taste of the owners : few variety of coffee beans that you can choose from to grind your morning coffee . Many board games for family activities while the table pool is located down stairs in addition to darts .
It is enough that it passed my wife strict definition of clean. Thank you Roman for your hospitality and care in making this enjoyable stay . Highly recommended
We had a wonderful stay! The house was just as described. My almost 2 grand daughter made full use of the small trampoline, toys and highchair. That was a great bonus.
The house was a perfect spot for a get-away. We especially enjoyed the screened porch.
Close enough to hop in to Harper’s Ferry or to order DoorDash, but still felt rustic and cozy. I would come again.
We loved our stay at this property with our two very young kids and my in laws and would definitely come back again. The furnishings and decor were wonderful and the home has a cozy cabin feel to it. The large windows let us enjoy the beautiful forest view. The screened in porch was great to contain the kids and enjoy a drink after dinner. It had a great kids room for our two year old and plenty of toys and a high chair. We also enjoyed taking the two year old on walks around the neighborhood since it is on a quiet street.
Polina and Roman are great hosts and responded promptly when we asked about a first aid kit to fix up our toddler after he took a tumble. I also appreciated that we were not given a ridiculous to-do list before leaving like some places require.
One reviewer mentioned the stairs may be hard for someone older but ultimately my in laws used the back patio stairs since there were fewer and once you are in the house, there’s no other stairs unless you head down to the game room.
HIGHLY recommend this spot. You won’t regret it!
The property was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The covered porch was very nice. The check-in and check-out process was easy and the hosts were very friendly.
the house was well-organized and very clean. Our host and hostess had everything we could possibly need. firewood in abundance spices great kitchen appliances, cookware and more. We will definitely go back.
This home is amazing and the location is perfect for local adventures. The owners were wonderful hosts who ensured we have everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Definitely recommended and plan to visit again.
My family and I highly enjoyed our stay and Polina and Roman are wonderful hosts. The property is in a quiet neighborhood but within a short drive to local restaurants and sightseeing spots. The cabin was clean and had a lot of thoughtful touches to make the stay very comfortable, even with our 1 year old (high chair, toys, pack and play, etc). We had the ability to cook meals in the kitchen, as it was equipped with a microwave, oven, stove, bakeware, pots and pans, etc. We were sad to leave but hope to return again soon!
The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cups, dishes and equipment. The beds were very comfortable as was the living room furniture. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the deer passing by. The owner was easy to reach and was very helpful when I had questions. It was a very enjoyable stay.
A lovely home nestled in the woods in Harpers Ferry. Easy to get to Harpers Ferry National Historic Park and surrounding areas. The house had a rustic feel and was a great retreat from the hustle of northern VA.
Idyllic and spotless cabin tucked into the woods and perfect for a quiet retreat. Very clean and well thought out. Owners were very accommodating!
The only drawback was the amount of stairs leading into the house. We had my mother in law traveling with us and this was a little bit of a challenge for her. Once in, everything was conveniently located on the main floor.
