We look forward to hosting you at our rustic restored 1940s cabin on the shores of Wolseley Bay, on the historic French River. We are located about 4 hours drive from Toronto, and 1 hour from both Sudbury and North Bay.
Main Cabin and Bunkie:
The nightly base rate is for up to 2 adults in the main cabin, where the kitchen and dining area are located.
For additional guests beyond 2, to secure the use the adjacent bunkie with queen bed and upper sleeping area (can sleep 2 more, ideal for kids), please select the total number of guests that will be coming to add the bunkie at the extra cost ($75/night/guest plus tax).
*If you are two guests and want to use both the main cabin and the bunkie, please book for 3 guests to pay the extra cost.
Property features:
1940's-style, large, one room insulated cabin, with adjacent bunkie, with internet, wood stove, kitchen facilities, water and hydro, dedicated dock, on the French River.
Main cabin features a screened-in porch on two sides with a beautiful view of the French River. BBQ and chairs on sun deck. Adjacent attractive, comfortable bunkie, which could sleep two or more guests (one queen bed on ground level and a second mattress up the ladder in the loft). Overall perfect for a 4 adults and two children getaway.
Available amenities included with your stay: Two sea kayaks and one canoe available, (must wear supplied life jackets.) Maximum 4 adults and two children in total.
Seasonal outdoor enclosed shower with hot and cold water. Owners next door. Perfect base for all-season outings. Good, clean swimming. Two golf courses nearby. Shopping in Noelville, 20 minutes away. Kilometers of hiking trails in sugar bush and forest behind the cabin.
No Jet Skis, SeaDoos or high powered speed boats. No water skiing permitted from dock. No boat longer than 16 feet can be accommodated at the dock. Boat rental available from nearby lodges. (Need advance notice- will try to assist.) No loud music etc. outside cabin. Hot and cold running water in season. Hammock, bird feeders and flower gardens in front. The French River is spectacularly beautiful. Gorgeous wilderness hiking, kayaking, boating. Our section of the French River is 13 kilometers long. (The photos were taken in the Fall and Summer.)
