We blind-booked this getaway (I literally looked on Vrbo on locations within 4hrs away from us), and stumbled across this beautiful cabin. The cabin was perfect for our family of 5 (children ranging from 10, 9, & 1 1/2yr). Our other boys enjoyed the creek, while our little one was safe inside the beautiful patio to runaround and play). Later in the evening, we had the super clean & well kept hot tub to enjoy! And we could also view the huge TV from the hot tub. Thank you again for hosting us!

My son and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Lots of nice amenities including a hot tub and fireplace. Very peaceful area. One thing that would have been helpful would be a list and directions for hiking trails. We tried to find a few without luck.

Great Secluded Location with a Few Flaws
Overall we loved the location and how secluded it was on the Toccoa river. There were neighbors somewhat close, but it didn’t feel like it. It’s right in the middle of Blue Ridge and Dahlonega (each are about 40 mins away). Great outdoor activities and wineries all around the area. The cabin was adequate though we did have to contact the owner with some significant issues. However, they were quick to resolve the ones they could quickly. Others required getting a professional in to address the issue. The vent on the mini split unit in the upstairs bedroom makes a terrible clicking noise frequently, so it’s difficult to sleep while it’s on. At the end of the day, we were mostly satisfied with the location but wouldn’t book here again.
This was a great property. We enjoyed the location and felt it was very clean. Our phones were spotty, and had a little trouble with service, and we didn't receive check out instructions until it was too late. It might be a good idea to put a binder with instructions in the house.
Delightful little cabin, we enjoyed our stay very much. Owner was in communication with us throughout, although we didn't require any additional assistance. Satellite television was an added bonus we were unaware of when booking. Access to the cabin is as advertised. Highly recommend the nearby Vogel State Park, Lake Winfield Scott recreation area and the Toccoa River swinging bridge. Day trips to Helen, GA and Blue Ridge, GA also worthwhile. Overall, our trip was a huge success and the accommodations were very nice. (the property itself could use just a touch of TLC with regards to removal of dead fall and other forest debris, weed removal, trimming branches that prevent better access to the river for fishing, etc. but some of that is to be expected in a remote forested area. It certainly wasn't a huge problem.)
We had a wonderful weekend! The cabin was just what we needed for some rest and relaxation. The hot tub and the screened in back patio were where we spent most of our time. Thanks for a great stay!
This place was such a wonderful stay. The cabin was in great condition and very comfortable. The property is connected to national forest and provides approx a 2 mile round trip hike that is good for reflecting and the kids. I wish I owned this property we loved it so much and the host was very responsive and informative. 🙏
A lovely spot for a cabin. Roomy. Loved the fireplace. It is only 2.2 miles from Cooper Creek, which is a great fishing spot.
The leaves were beautiful and temperatures were perfect.
We were disappointed in cleanliness of property, but reported immediately to "Host" who offered to send someone right over, but I had already taken care of it & didn't want anyone in once we were there. The host was wonderful and easy to talk to & I'm sure this issue was addressed immediately with her cleaning people.
NOTE: THIS IS A CATCH & RELEASE PROPERTY ( we didn't know this until we
arrived)
NOTE: BRING YOUR OWN FIREWOOD. Photos show firewood in ouside firepit and fireplace, but it is not supplied.
The property was clean and decorated so tastefully. We loved the outside screened porch, hot tub, fire pit and deck facing the creek. The fairy lights and stairs leading to the creek were probably our favorite. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. We cooked in all meals and had everything we needed in the kitchen . The house was tucked away but also easy to find. It was the perfect trip to the N. Ga mountains!
We made a lot of great memories in this comfy cabin. We went hiking to Sea Creek Falls just up the road, played in the creek on the property and enjoyed the fire pit. Everything was perfect! We will be back!
We enjoyed staying at this beautiful cabin in Suches. Lots of outdoor space with direct river access. Beautiful scenery on the way to the cabin. Blue Ridge & McCaysville only about 30 minutes away if you plan to visit.
Loved the cabin! Went for the weekend with our grandsons and my daughter, fiancée and granddaughter came up to spend Saturday with us. Relaxed on porch, swam, soaked in hot tub and finished our bbq dinner around the campfire. Wonderful stay!!
We enjoyed our stay. Property was great and we were able to contact the owners if needed. Place is right on the river and the hot tub is a nice amenity. Also, appreciated being able to bring our dog who loved the woods.
This cabin is wonderful! I have to say the pics of the bedrooms look a little rough but they are actually super nice. The entire cabin has been newly remodeled and everything top notch, no expense was spared in the renovation. We loved our stay and hope to go back again.
