Great place to stay for a hiking vacation. Easy access to all things Palm Springs! Our hosts were accessible and helpful during our stay. Would definitely return to same home again.
We rented this spot for Modernism Week and really enjoyed the stay. Super clean, very well equipped, and very Palm Springs! Decor was well thought out, bedding very comfortable. Would rent this house again without hesitation!
Our family of 4 loved this beautiful MCM home with heated pool option for the holidays! It was a perfect architectural setting to relax and play between our excursions to the Air Museum, Joshua Tree, & thrift shopping. Many thanks to our gracious hosts for sharing their place and for excellent communication.
The hosts were very communicative and offered us early check in. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The decor though minimalist by design was very crisp and pleasing. The master suite was nicely appointed with plenty of space for your clothes but there was almost no where to put anything in the two other bedrooms except for hanging clothes. No shelves or drawers so you have to live mostly out of your suitcase. For the two nights that was fine but it might be challenge for a longer trip. There were plenty of towels in the closets and nice size pool towels. The pool is an extra 150/day to heat; that seemed pretty steep on top of paying over 700/night for the place. Our one real compliant was the the lumpy mattress in the second largest bedroom but we moved to the small bedroom and the bed was great as was the one in the master bedroom that our other family members used. The place is extremely spacious and in a lovely neighborhood to walk in!
Stayed for a birthday weekend getaway with my little family and friends. The house is well equipped to make any delicious meal. All the rooms were very spacious. The outdoor dining area was great for after pool activities and a cookout. Would definitely recommend this place and I will likely return in the future.
This home is comfortable and was perfect for the five of us. The many places to chill was great - we all found our favorite place to read & catch up on our computers and then gather at the pool. Location is perfect, close to groceries and a nice walk into downtown PS (3+ miles roundtrip). We would love to come back <3
This was a good rental with 3 good sized bedrooms. Kitchen was more than 'well' equipped....was over full of dishes and glassware....could easily accommodate 25 people. Also need to address the lighting in the hallway for washer and dryer.... we had to use the flashlight to wash/dry clothes at night. Toiletries left by previous guests is kinda creepy.
We feel lucky to have found this rental for our Spring Break and keep saying how much we enjoyed it. The property was accurately represented and the owners were great communicators and accommodating when we asked for a later check-out. It was worth it to have the pool heated during our stay (March) and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals (could have hosted Thanksgiving, if needed). The fire pit was great and easy to use & there were plenty of chairs outside for lounging and gathering. We also loved having the grill and outdoor dining table (Minnesota makes for a late grilling season). There was one very hot day when the two umbrellas were not quite enough to provide shade for the 4 of us and our 2 day guests but, otherwise, they were fine. Later afternoon provided some shade over the pool which was perfect. We were close to the things we wanted to do while being in a quieter/less busy part of town. The beds were comfortable and we had access to plenty of linens & towels, including beach towels.
A few things to note - there wasn’t anything in close walking distance (like coffee shops or convenience stores) so just be aware if you don’t have a car. The shower/tub in the main bedroom’s bathroom is a step down which was fine for us but would potentially be an issue for someone with balance concerns (was thinking if we’d brought my parents in their 70’s).
The views of the mountains from the backyard were a constant source of comment and we loved the privacy back there. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat and would certainly recommend it to friends looking to visit!
Wonderful house in a quiet area. Feels very private in a great back yard. The fire pit was excellent for cool mornings and evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked with the extras that make a stay comfortable.
We stayed her for Modernism Week 2022 and it was perfect: location, pool, rooms, whole house. It was great to come home each night to a great mid-century modern home. Kitchen was equipped with everything we would need. The house is so clean. We didn’t want to leave! Darren was super easy to deal with and very responsive. We cannot wait to return!
