It was wonderful! The cottage is darling - had everything we needed and was in a lovely location. Danielle, the owner, was very nice and available if we needed anything (but we didn't).
Highly recommend this property!!!
Quiet location with a beautiful view of the mountains. Comfortable and clean. Thoughtful details such as a selection of pillows on the bed, tea in the cupboard and bottled water in the refrigerator made it feel like home.
Quiet clean. Everything we needed was in this cottage. We enjoyed the beautiful yard. Listening to the birds in the morning and the night sounds at night. Just perfect.
Very sweet cottage located 10 min past the Mission. Quiet setting with lovely gardens. The cottage is next to the main home which you walk past to enter/exit. The home is comfortable and has the bare essentials including a well functioning combo washer/dryer. We did vacuum and clean to our standards the first day there to clear out cob webs etc and had to purchase shampoo/conditioner/body wash but enjoyed our stay overall.
This place was a well stocked as any VRBO we have ever stayed in. The place is rustic, sits on a large piece of property and is both quiet and private. Yet it is close to both Montecito and Santa Barbara proper. The roads are narrow but traffic is very limited. We would easily return. The house offers is much more than a single hotel room. For however long you stay it become “your house.”
We very much enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely location. The one significant exception was the access to the cottage. My wife has mobility issues and the walk way was uneven and dark at night.
This cottage was perfect for an extended stay. It was clean and well appointed. It also had some surprising amenities including a brand new combo washer / dryer and a beautiful back patio with a pergola. My host, Virginia, was most hospitable. She was quick to respond with information and greeted me in person at checkin. (She’d opened up the cottage for my arrival.) in addition, when I needed help with something, Virginia was extremely responsive. I highly recommend this cottage and this host!
