Super cozy lil home. Has everything you need. Located right in the heart of Lubbock and is close to everything. Stayed for a month and had no issues whatsoever
Had to stay in Lubbock for about a week for my sons tournament. The place was clean and the owner was very easy to get in touch with any time I had questions overall great stay!
Stayed at the Fox for my sons Tech RRO visit. Great price and location to Tech and everything we needed to do in Lubbock. House is nice on the inside could use a little help on the outside. But, would stay there again. Good for 4 people would be tight if you had more.
This house was perfect for graduation weekend. The house was so clean and the perfect size for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were confit, and the property manager was so prompt in answering all my questions. We would totally stay here again!
I was in Lubbock with my immediate family for my graduation. The night of our arrival we went to bed late and noticed there were noticiable amounts of salt/sugar particles on both beds and on the nightstand. Bedsheets were also stained and there were hairs on the pillows. I sent a message to the host asking for new clean sheets and received a reply early in the morning. He said he found it odd because he had cleaned the beds and nightstand himself 3h prior to our arrival. He then said he would stop by the house on his own time to look at the beds bc “we all work” and he wasn’t available later in the afternoon. I asked that we be on the property when he arrived bc we had our belongings there. He asked we take our ‘valuables’ with us so he could stop by when we weren’t there. I disagreed. He finally said he would stop by before we left the house bc that was the only time he would be available. We had to accommodate to his schedule even though we were trying to get ready to leave for my graduation. This was very poor customer service and lack of availability. All we wanted were new clean sheets. When he arrived he loudly banged on the side door of the house, instead of ringing the doorbell of the front door. He then came in, investigated the particles with his phone flashlight and by running the particles in water, and said they appeared to be ‘trekked in’ on our arrival. I was looking at other reviews and see one about dog hair on the bed with the host excusing it by blaming the previous guest. How is the previous guest to blame if the home should be clean prior to arrival of a new guest? This review also states something about the cleaning crew. FYI the cleaning crew is the host. I saw another review that I agree with that mentions the check out instructions of leaving the bed sheets on the bed, but placing the towels in the hamper. How does this make sense? Also, the the checkout list states to leave the thermostat set to 70 cool for the summer, but when we arrived it was set to heat and the temperature reached up to 81! The host sent me a message the day before check out stating that a thorough inspection of the home would be done when we left and to make sure we follow the instructions to avoid extra charges. This host was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and lacked customer service skills.
Everything was fine, but when I checked in the silverware had hard water stains and some utensils were actually stuck to each other (i just washed them; no big deal), but after 3 days of staying here I took a good look into the fridge and noticed rat/mouse feces all in the fridge, closets, and below the kitchen sink. House was apparently clean, but needs a good deep cleaning. Was a bit concerning to see that a house rule for checking out was to leave all bedding on since there was another review about dog hair on the bed. Everything was perfectly fine other than the apparent rodent issue
We stayed for one month and loved it. Great location and quiet neighborhood. It’s an older house but clean and well cared for. I would definitely stay again.
We came in to Lubbock to visit our son and attend the Wine and Beer festival. This home was in a a great location to Tech and the festival. The home was clean, bright and had great internet. We will be back.
The house was cute and cozy. I would have left a 5 star review. But both beds were covered in what appeared to be pet hair. The owner was kind and responded quickly offering to replace the bedding. We ended up washing it ourselves and it came out clean so it made us wonder if the cleaning company even washed them at all. I was also disappointed that there wasn't any laundry detergent but it wasn't listed in the ad. Would stay again if needed.

Hello, I am a Real Estate professional licensed in Texas and New Mexico who actively participates in the Lubbock Arts Community. Currently I serve as Executive Director for Frontier Arts Society and have an active performance schedule throughout the country. As a person that loves to travel, I normally book my trips around work and hobbies. It is my favorite way to enjoy a destination.
Why they chose this property
Since I travel for work and pleasure a significant amount, I wanted to provide to the short term rental community a comfortable and safe place to stay in Lubbock at an affordable price. This location was perfect for the major areas in town that guests visit and I look forward to improving the property and listing amenities over time.
What makes this property unique
My first investment property was located in the Heart of Lubbock and its location was perfect for leasing due to Texas Tech University being in close proximity. While working on the renovations to that property I decided to purchase this home because of its location next to Carlisle Park. After fully updating the interior of "The Fox" I decided I wanted to share the property with guests rather than continue with a system and model of leasing. This has proven to be extremely rewarding.
