The property was open, clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We appreciated the in unit laundry. Wi-fi was reliable and although we didn't use it much, television had good selection. The property manager was very accessible and communicative and helped us arrange transportation and provided recommendations for several of the things we wanted to do on the island. I highly recommend this property. Location is just a couple minutes walk to Mary's Boon and Karakter- two popular beach hang outs. It's a 10 minute walk to the main road where you can easily rent a car, get a cab or the local "bus" to anywhere on the island. I would love to see Sint Maarten regulate their cab fares in the future as we were charged $40 every time we went anywhere in a cab- under a mile, two miles or more. Fortunately, we were quite comfortable using their local bus for most trips. There are numerous small markets nearby for groceries. We took advantage of pre-ordering the groceries and were well stocked upon our arrival. We felt very safe and secure on this beautiful property and appreciated the kind consideration and incredible responsiveness of our host. The beachfront location and property were stunning. The construction on the property is some of the best I have seen on the island and this was my 4th trip. Two of the bedrooms are at the back of the unit and from those rooms, sound was remarkably well insulated. Each room also has a very large open closet. Great place!
