The Governor Meagher cabin is rich in Virginia City History. Built when we were still a Territory, this home has been completely refurbished and is one block from the historic Virginia City district. This home is also on the Historic Register.

The space: The Meagher cabin is one block from downtown Virginia City. Have fun exploring a true Living Ghost Town!!

Guest access: You have full access to the home and the side yard.

Other things to note: Virginia City is Montana’s number one state owned tourist destination! There are walking tours, guided tours, food and entertainment!!

Virginia City fun

We had a perfect experience staying at the cabin. It was in a perfect location, spotless, charming and well appointed plus we love historical dwellings so that was an extra plus!

Historical cabin

Was nice, comfortable, not a lot of noise. Easy walking distance to everywhere in town made it especially nice. Loved this little cabin.
