The hosts were great and easy to communicate with. The house was very clean and had everything that we needed. It was a perfect weekend! We love Greenport and needed a place to stay near family for Thanksgiving weekend.
We enjoyed our stay. The location was great, just a few minutes walk into town with tons of wineries a short drive away. While the house is listed to sleep 8, please be aware it is VERY tight for large groups. One of the bedrooms has a twin bed and a Murphy bed, with essentially no room to move around or have suitcases. The bunk beds are in a tiny room the size of a closet. We were a group of 7 and 2 people needed to sleep on the pull out couch in the living room right next to the front door. Probably only suited for a small group of 4-5 adults max.
The house is a duplex. It was very clean and comfortable. There were three of us but it can accommodate more people. It would be pretty cozy with more than 4 people. There are basically two bedrooms plus bunk beds in an alcove outside the main bedroom. Plus there is room for a couple more people on a Murphy bed in one bedroom and the couch downstairs. But that would be a crowded house. The backyard is charming with a couple nice seating areas. The kitchen is well equipped although it lacked a couple basics (like salt and oil). Checkout procedure was easy. Just take out the garbage and turn off the heat. Hosts were very accommodating for us, letting us check in early because no one was in the house and it was already clean. That was super nice since we had just flown in on the Red eye. Overall, no complaints, everything was cool.
Enjoyed our stay in greenport ! The house was in a good location for shopping and dining downtown. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable. Host was easy to communicate with and would stay again if we were to re visit.
We had a great stay at this house! Host was incredibly communicative and kind. House was exactly what was picture in the photos. Short (and beautiful) walk to all the restaurants and shops in town. Book this place now!
when we arrived beds and bathroom, although clean, had not been made. we texted owner. a few minutes later two ladies arrived and in short order prepped bathroom and bedrooms. they thought we were arriving a day later. it was not an issue. stay was good.
