This is a beautiful property with beautiful views, lots of indoor and outdoor space for the little ones to play, and for the adults to chill and socialize. Very clean and well kept. We would love to come back and stay here again in the future!
Beautiful house in a great location. Very close to Okemo mountain and about 30 minutes to Killington. The house was clean and really nice. Our only issue was the basement floor with the bunk beds and fusball table had no heat. We were told there was space heaters. We found two which took many hours to warm the main room in basement. No one could sleep down there. If we brought our kids we wouldn’t have been able to stay. Besides that the house was great.

Beautiful Views
This house was exactly what we wanted for a "fall colors" visit to Vermont. We had gorgeous views, comfortable beds and a kitchen that had everything we needed. The location allowed us easy access to many great places to visit - Stowe, Woodstock, Ben & Jerry's etc. The turn off the main road is a doozy, so keep a sharp eye out! Check out was super easy - with so many places adding an onerous list of chores we were really happy with such a reasonable set of requests (take out the trash, start the dishwasher, shut the windows). Communication about the rental was also very good.
We chose this location for it’s proximity to Okemo (10 minutes) and Killington (25 minutes). So that was perfect. The house is great with the living space on the entry floor and bedrooms on the levels below. The house itself was well fitted out for our group of 6. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was a great week. We would definitely stay here again.

Great home with beautiful views and excellent location
We were 6 people and loved staying at the Pond House. Would absolutely consider it again. Highly recommend bringing groceries to cook at home, there is limited groceries nearby, but we found we wanted to spend more time the house than go out to eat.
The home is 10 min. from Okemo mountain and downtown Ludlow, which had a few good post-skiing options.
The house itself is gorgeous and perfect. Nice, highly functional fireplace. Smart TVs, was easy to connect to our Amazon Prime and Netflix accounts to watch a late night movie.
The 6 of us were 3 adults and 3 children and we all loved the house. Plenty of bedding and space. Nice library, good foosball table. Comfortable rooms.
Location is amazing. Leaving Okemo at the end of the ski day there was a ton of traffic and the house was perfectly in the other direction.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Spacious Rental
The house was nice with a great space for the kids. The only pitfall was the cleanliness. Our Check-in was for 4pm, we got there at 5 and the cleaning lady was still there. She didn’t leave till 6. She missed quite a few things while rushing to finish. Also bring your some of your own towels as there were not enough for all the guests. If the owners read this… I would recommend a more thorough cleaning service. More than one person is probably needed.

We had a nice getaway with friends. The cabin was secluded and quiet with a lovely view of mountains and marsh. There was a little trail to hike right out the front door and many more a short drive away. There is a market only 6 miles away so no need to shop before you arrive. The bedrooms are spacious and each has its own bathroom. The only thing I wish I brought was a mattress topper. I like a plush mattress and these are all quite firm.

Pond House in the woods
We loved staying here. We enjoyed the views, the privacy, the lovely space indoors to wait out the rain and enjoy family time.
Great property ! Secluded quiet location short drive to ski areas.
We had a really nice weekend although a day or so of rain. The house was comfortable and very clean upon arrival ( except for a few cigarette butts on the upper deck… we thought it was a non smoking property).
Decor was cute and we loved the ski theme, bedrooms spacious, great area for teens to hang out downstairs! Mattresses were a little firmer than we prefer … but overall all the amenities we’d expect and a great location!
We would come back for sure !

House is great, Vacasa not so
The house was perfect for two families (4 adults, 4 kids) with plenty of space for everyone. The three levels helped with this as did the “kids” first level living area.
Views are great onto the local pond and we very much felt “at peace” in the surroundings.
Access road was fine although you’d probably need AWD or snow tyres during or after snowfall. Location is excellent just 15 mins or so drive to either of the Okemo bases.
As a bonus, there is a perfectly located (and functioning) 120v outlet for electric vehicles.
Be aware kitchen is a little dated (although well set up) and internal stairs quite steep. Vacasa customer service was also a let down when we were given 6 towels for 8 guests and despite a very nice lady on the phone (after a 20 min wait) promising me 2 more would be supplied same evening, none appeared during our entire stay.
