About this property

Luxury Mountain Chic Mammoth Home close to Canyon Lodge

Nestled on a beautiful lot close to Canyon Lodge and two houses down from the blue bus line (which reduces the need for a car and gives each guest a lot of flexibility), this newly renovated spacious mountain-chic home is the perfect place to relax after enjoying a day of adventures on Mammoth Mountain.

** Mammoth requires a 31 day minimum stay for homes in this area.

HOME LAYOUT:
The sun-fulled upper floor is an expansive great room with two balconies where you can enjoy pine tree and mountain views as you settle back by the fireplace, watch TV, cook in the fully-equipped kitchen, and dine at the comfortable and elegant dining room table.

The large master bedroom is also located on the upper floor and has a walk-in closet, jacuzzi tub and separate shower, and a reading chair by the outdoor balcony.

The lower floor features a spacious entertainment room, complete with a pool table, card table for four (or remote-office desk), a 65" TV, and an X-box.
There are also three sunlit, beautifully decorated bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a washer & dryer.

AMENITIES:
We want our Mammoth home to feel like your home and we’ve included all the extras that will make your vacation perfect. We have several board games and puzzles, Sonos music speakers throughout the house, cozy fireplace, two 65" TV's with Amazon prime video, Fire TV, HBO Max and Netflix, Xbox, game table, pool table, snowshoes and sleds in the garage, Tesla charger, jacuzzi tub, two regular closets and two large walk-in closets for clothing, three humidifiers, two upright fans, luggage racks, three industrial radiator space heaters, extra spices and condiments in the pantry and refrigerator, two keurig coffee machines, keurig coffee & hot coco brewers, plenty of laundry supplies and cleaning supplies, extra pillows & blankets & towels, a binder filled with maps/bus lines info/brochures of activities in the area, and three drawers full of miscellaneous items like batteries, charging cables, flashlights & lanterns, pens and paper, candles, etc. And for remote workers, there are four potential office spaces: lower level card table, middle bedroom desk & chair, master bedroom table (will need to bring in a chair) and upper level dining table.

We have keyless entry locks on both the garage and front door.

There is plenty of parking in the garage and on the driveway for up to five cars, but we are also two houses down from the Mammoth Blue Bus line (which circles in between Canyon Lodge and Village all day long.) We have a snow shoveling service that regularly keeps up with the driveway, the stairs leading to the front door, and the balconies. (There are also two shovels and snow salt in the garage, if needed.)

House in the blizzards

This house has beautiful views, and we were able to witness three blizzards. It was a once in a lifetime vacation.

Amazing House in Perfect Location

We have been using VRBO for over a decade and this was our best experience with a host we have ever had! The property was well stocked and all of our needs were more than met. The beds were so comfortable we are thinking about replacing our own bed with the same brand. The pictures on VRBO were what peaked my interest in the house, but they didn't even do the house and views justice. The view from the dining room table each night was spectacular. We are so grateful to Hollie and Jorge for making our stay at Mammoth this summer our most memorable yet. Whenever we rent a place there is always a feeling, even if it's comfortable, that we are staying in someone else's home. Hollie and Jorge have truly made it so that when you stay at their house it feels like a home away from home! I cannot recommend this house enough, it was absolutely perfect! Everything from the convenient location to the stargazing we could do right off the front porch each night. We will definitely stay again and would recommend this property to anyone looking for the best spot in Mammoth! Thank you again, Hollie and Jorge! -Jennifer and Joe Guilfoyle

I grew up in Colorado, but have lived in Los Angeles for over 20 years. I have two boys who, like me, enjoy the mountains as well as the beach. We ski, snowboard, surf, play beach volleyball, wakeboard, and wake surf. I have a lot of experience in renovating and decorating homes. Mammoth is my fourth project, and is my third time hosting with VRBO. I love traveling myself, so sharing our home and creating the perfect vacation for other families is a pleasure for me.
