While staying at Padres Place you can fish, scallop or play in the water. As daylight fades, sink into porch swings and watch the sun sink into the Gulf of Mexico. The outside living space is AWESOME. You can bring family and friends as Padres Place sleeps 13 people with 3 bathrooms.

Nice place but shrimp boats a real pain
The place was nice with room for everyone but the owners rent out the lot for shrimp boats. We were told they would not be there during our stay. Not only were they there, they parked 2 shrimp boats in the canal, making it difficult for myself and everyone else using the canal to pass by them. They would arrive around 4:30 AM and woke up most of our family running their diesel trucks and generators. If the shrimp boats are there, I would not recommend this house.
This is the second time our family has enjoyed Padres Place. It is in a great location, has wonderful amenities.
And we are very thankful that Hurricane Idalia had left it in tact! As Keaton Beach is where it made landfall.
I did notice a couple of "blemishes" this time, however, all-in-all was still wonderful.
We enjoyed our stay and scallops were plentiful.
Was disappointed that a lock was placed on boat lift on the third day that we were there. Owners leasing out their boat lifts to neighbors and shrimp boats doing maintenance on the other side using VRBOs water left us waiting to clean out boats. Air conditioning seemed to struggle to keep house below 75. Several maintenance issues including broken door handles to screened area led to many cut fingers. Screws protruding in boardwalk leading to boat dock were a tripping issue as well as a cut foot. We enjoyed ourselves and have come to Keaton Beach every year to scallop but will probably pick another house next year.
This place is great for a large group. We had 11 folks and all slept comfortably. Outdoor area has plenty of chairs and swings. Ice maker and fish cleaning area on the dock. Plenty of parking. No complaints . Will be back for sure.
The house was amazing. Plenty of space cute decorations and everything you could possibly need for your stay. We had an amazing time and the kids loved hanging out on the dock and fishing. The down stairs bedroom is great especially if you have somebody who has trouble going up and downstairs. The upstairs porch was a great place to hang out and watch the sunset. I also really appreciated the extra safety measurements with the railing and gates we had a 3 year old with us and it was nice letting him run and play without the stress of him getting hurt. I would 100% book this property again, and recommend it to any of my family and friends
