Perfect location from which to visit Bellows Falls and the Vermont Country Store locations. Having a pizza joint next door was a real plus! Attentive host who handled a communications issue immediately
We stayed here for three nights. The home is very comfortable. My kids and husband loved shooting pool on the antique pool table. There’s a pizza place next door and we ate from there twice while staying there. The neighborhood is really nice. We went for a nice walk through the neighborhood. People are always walking around in the neighborhood. We would definitely go back!
It was the perfect place to relax and forget about the honey-do list waiting for us back at home. Kim was extremely fast to respond and easy to work with!
We stayed in Bellows Falls as a halfway for a weekend skiing at Stratton. Kim's place was great! Excellent communication, everything was as expected and was very homey! Would definitely stay at Kim's again!
Stayed here following a day of enjoying the fall foliage in the area. Rental was neat and clean. Enjoyed playing a game of pool and catching a movie following dinner and a drink at Donovan's in town.
The listing doesnt do the space justice. It's a lovely property, ample parking, and the host was a great communicator. We were in town for a wedding. The property was close to everything we needed.
We stayed four nights at this comfortable. Victorian in the heart of Bellows Falls and would happily stay there again. I work remotely, so there was plenty of room for me and my PC. After a day of exploring nearby trails, rivers and waterfalls, and the old railroad depot area, we loved to drop into the overstuffed chair or sofa in the living room.
Plus, there is a veranda, with comfortable chairs, looking out on a large open lawn.
Bathroom and kitchen are clean and well stocked.
A find.
Very impressed with the communication of the owner and flexibility. I went with my mother and my sister. Sister has MS and often needs later start times and owner accommodated a later check out. Very clean, nicely kept amenities even had things off you forgot to pack them.
This home is in a terrific area of Bellows Falls, just one street over from downtown. It’s very comfortable for 4 people, which is what we had - two of us on a queen bed, and each (young adult) child had a twin bed in their own room. We didn’t use the kitchen really so I can’t speak to it, but it seemed to have everything you could need for cooking. Communication was good, place was clean and ready for us.
What truly makes this rental stand out above others are the little extras. Our host had a lovely Keurig station set up in the kitchen with plenty of coffee pods for everyone. She even had creamers in the fridge. In the bathroom was a basket full of toiletries, toothpaste, even toothbrushes if you needed them! The washing machine had detergent if needed… those are the extra little things you appreciate as a guest. This host is generous and thoughtful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone!
Visiting from Long Island for a couple of days of skiing with my kids (14 and 12). Had a great time playing pool and watching movies while reclining in the very comfortable leather couch. We all had full recline seats so perfect to relax in after a day on the slopes. Kim was extremely responsive and helpful and her place is set up very nicely.
My friend who booked this property had an accident several days before we were supposed to check in. Although we were past the deadline for a refund (and stupidly had no trip insurance) Kim was willing to cancel our reservation with no penalty. Right after the cancellation went through I was able to arrange for a different friend to go with me to Bellows Falls. Kim helped to make that happen. On the coldest day of the year, we arrived to a toasty warm house with clear directions for easy access. Beds were comfy, neighborhood quiet, nice to have coffee station supplied with coffee and tea. We also had fun playing pool!
We had such a great time. The accommodations were fantastic. Just as advertised. Kim (the hostess) is fantastic. Making sure all our needs we met. It has a queen size and two other bedrooms with singles in them. You will love it!!!!
The place was very big and clean. I loved the architectural details like wood floors and built-in bookshelves. The pool table was a lot of fun and the living room was very comfy. Lots of little touches like fancy soaps in the bathroom and extra-soft mattresses. The only negatives were the lack of a dishwasher and there was no kitchen or dining room table, but eating at the counter in the kitchen worked ok.
