This is our third time staying at Candy and Larry’s property and as usual, everything was great. It’s so nice to be away from the city, but still convenient, and a tiny house is much more comfortable than a hotel in the same price range.
We enjoyed our stay here. Checking in and out was very easy. My only complaint is that we could not connect to the wifi. Other than that, I have no complaints! I will definitely stay here again.
The unit was clean and comfortable. Everything including a keurig, blender and toaster was provided. Great location, not far from laundry facitily (which has a wash and fold service), and major grocery stores abd restaurants. The river tubing is < 15 min away and Canyon Lake is just a little farther. Beautiful hill country all around. Lots of deer.
Overall it was a great little stay! we came in for a wedding at the preserve at canyon lake and the drive was easy. We were thankful there were a few waters left for us. My only piece of advice is to bring a fan if you like to sleep with one. The AC got it nice and cool but it was still a little humid, plus many people that just like having a fan in the room when you sleep.
We enjoyed our time here. Candy was quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved that we could stay with our families but every one had their own houses on the same property. The bed was super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We really enjoyed our time here.
Perfect for a family of four. Especially those with kids four and up.
Our kids had a blast in the loft area. We had all the necessary utensils and kitchenware on site - don't forget to bring your corkscrew or some cooking oil if you plan to cook. Upside, HEB is a short drive away.
The kids enjoyed walking around through the brush, across the street to see the goats and playing on the big deck out front. We made use of the front porch to enjoy the morning with coffee from the Keurig and coffee pods that were provided.
Special thanks to Candy who went above the call of duty to save the day. Hours after checking out, my daughter realized she had left her stuffed Bluey toy wrapped up in the blankets. This was a gift that had just arrived from her aunt in Australia days earlier and Candy was able to track it down and mail it to us.
This was exactly what we needed on short notice and our stay was perfect for our needs. The property was well equipped and had all the amenities necessary. We spent our mornings and evenings sitting on the porch watching the occasional deer that wandered by and enjoying the peaceful setting. The owners were approachable and insured our stay was a pleasant experience.
Loved the neighborhood, enough in the country to feel out of the city, but still really convenient. About a 15 minute drive to Gruene or to the lake. Not far to fetch groceries or anything else you forgot. Deer all around.
