About this property

Amazing Puget Sound View House (Studio)

Many of our guests come here for the beautiful views of the Olympic mountains and the Puget Sound waterway, local parks, hiking trails, walking the neighborhood, biking, boating, ferry rides, museums, sporting events, concerts, and restaurants. Some come to recover from medical procedures, some come for funerals of loved ones, some people come to work, others for birthdays, holidays, weddings, honeymoons, others just for some peace, quiet, and solitude watching the different varieties of birds and boats float by. Note: We do for an extra charge have the ability to sleep two (2) extra people. Please let us know ahead of time so we can put out extra linen and make up the sofa bed.
There is a hospital Four (4) minutes away if you have to be near one for health reasons. This house is very close to Airport Fifteen (15) Minutes sometimes less.
The location close to downtown Seattle Twenty (20) Minutes.
Ferries Twenty (20) Minutes away.
Parks twenty to thirty (20-30) minutes away depending on the park.
Plenty of grocery stores nearby.
This room is very big, very clean, and this Studio faces to the Sound... Amazing Puget Sound View. Very quiet.
NO SMOKING, not even on the property.
Guest access
All secure separate Studio: Living room, Bathroom, kitchen. Out your door is a yard facing the ocean, the bottom right side by the stairway is separate from the one bedroom unit on the far right side. Both Studio and One bedroom has its own separate Lawn furniture and barbeque in front of each.
Other things to note
*There is a hospital Four (4) minutes away if you have to be near one for health reasons.
We live above this studio have a tiny noise of us walking around or perhaps talking, this is said just in case you are super sensitive to any noise what so ever.
NOTE: In between the floors are insulated and we have talked to our guest to see if the noise is disturbing and everyone has said NO. But since we are a super host we want full disclosure just in case.

Amazing Stay!

I have stayed in many VRBO’s across the Country and this was definitely one of the very best. We were there for medical appointments for my Husband in downtown Seattle and to be able to come back to this place of solitude made a huge difference. Dale is an amazing host. We were taken very good care of. Definitely a gem!

We had a lovely time staying here. We rented the studio. It's perfect for one or two people. The view was incredible. Mr. Dale was very helpful and friendly.

Great Sunsets

Very well kept property. Full size fridge, washer/dryer, small dishwasher and stove/oven. Shower pressure and temp great. Morevthan adequate linens and washclots. Sunsets and temp outside in September is perfect. Quiet neighborhood. Peaceful. Exactly what we wanted.

We will be back!

Me and my wife stayed here for our honeymoon. We wanted to take a trip to Seattle but not really stay in the city. When we found this place, we were skeptical as we just needed a place to stay. But this just blew us away. The view alone is enough to warrant a great review. Our host was incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The room had everything we needed whether we wanted to DoorDash or groceries shop and cook. The room was really clean overall. And if you just want to have a great view and drink a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise or sunset, this is a great place to enjoy as it overlooks puget sound. We stayed here for about a week and took uber/lyft to downtown Seattle when we wanted, there was no trouble whatsoever. 10/10 will come again!

The view was beautiful. The place was clean, bed comfy, loved the option to cook in rather then go out eveyeal. The host was great had power outage across part of Burien but Dale and Ping got a generator hooked up for us.

Great studio with amazing views!

The studio is just as pictured, cozy, clean and complete for a very enjoyable stay. Very convenient with kitchen and washer/dryer. Bed a linens were very comfortable, unit is quiet. The star of the show is the view! Sit inside or outside on the patio, complete with gas grill and table and chairs for outdoor dining. Perfect for two people. The hosts were very helpful. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Seattle!

Perfect spot for 2 people with gorgeous view of the Sound. Very quiet neighborhood but only 10 minutes from the airport. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.

Visiting family in Seattle

Overall great experience! Unit was exactly as advertised. The view of the Sound is breathtaking. You feel like you’re at a retreat. It was so quiet and relaxing. Yet only 20 minutes or so and you’re in downtown Seattle. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful View

We really enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable and we're really impressed with the supplies that you don't find in most VRBO (bathroom supplies, paper towels, coffee supplies, laundry and dishwasher needs). These supplies are very appreciated since we were flying and bringing these things would be hard. Overall this is a very nice peaceful place to come back to after days of adventure. I would recommend this studio for 2 people.

Washington Getaway

We had a wonderful visit to Seattle, but one of the best things was your Studio, the view was absolutely beautiful, we made it a point to watch the sunset every evening of our stay. The property was away from the city which was wonderful. The room was as advertised, clean, comfortable bed and quiet. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a wonderful!

Perfect for two, spectacular view!

Cozy studio with a comfortable bed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook in, and we grilled one evening. Outdoor seating and blankets if needed, but the view was enjoyed from inside as well. Binoculars in the unit to take a closer look at the boats and birds. Managing the bathroom fan (motion sensor) took a little getting used to. Great communication with Dale. Would definitely recommend, and stay again!

Perfect location!

We flew into town to attend a Seahawks game at Lumen Field downtown. This place was perfect, a 15-minute drive from the airport and just 20 minutes from Lumen Field. The view was amazing! We spent time just sitting and looking out over the sound. There is a great restaurant nearby called Huckleberry Square. We ate multiple meals there, both breakfast and dinner. Try the Huckleberry Crisp with ice cream! Dale is super nice and great to chat with about the area. Check-in and out was easy. We will definitely be back next time we fly in to attend a game!

The hosts thought of absolutely everything! We really appreciated the attention to detail. The space was clean and well stocked. The property is well taken care of and the hosts were helpful and communicative. And, of course, the view!! A full 180 degree unobstructed view of Puget Sound. It was absolutely stunning. This spot is perfect for a quiet getaway that is still super convenient to the Seattle area.

Serenity at the Sound

This was a quiet and peaceful place to stay with a phenomenal view of Puget Sound. Best spot to grab take out (or cook a meal), pour a glass a wine and take in the gorgeous view! I’m a woman traveling solo and felt very safe and secure. For me, this property was centrally located to enjoy Mt Rainer, Olympic National Park, and Mt St Helen’s. Dale and Ping were excellent hosts and were quick to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend this property. I can’t wait to come back and visit!
