Felt like home..

This place was so comfortable, it felt like home. This place is very well stocked, no need to bring anything. It is very nicely decorated, and the backyard is so inviting. Several sitting areas in a garden setting. I sat outside every day in the garden reading, so relaxing. Loved the swing out front by the firepit as well. We only had one issue; the gas grill would not get hot enough for grilling. We love grilling so we purchased a small charcoal grill for our use. However, Luke was very responsive when contacted. Couldn't ask for better hosts. Would defintely stay here again.

10 STARS!!!

All I can say is WOW!! Everything about this trip was amazing! The house deserves 10 stars, unfortunately, you can only give 5! It was fully stocked with everything you can imagine. It was perfect for three moms and four sons. The beds and bedding were so comfortable we took pictures of all the sheets, pillows, and mattresses because we want to buy them for our homes!! It was the perfect location to enjoy the activities at Rainbow River and Three Sisters Springs. It was located near activities, food, and grocery stores. After long days of swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking the kids were able to come home and use the side yard for epic games of blitz ball or play spike ball in the well lit back yard. They also enjoyed all of the board games and card games that were at the house. The homeowner, Luke, responded to all of my questions in a timely manner and was very informative about fun activities and restaurants in the area. Overall, we had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back!

Perfect Location, Wonderful House!

This house was so comfortable with plenty of room. We loved the furnishings, the nice patio, and wonderful backyard. Everything was as advertised but even better in person. Check- in was easy. We brought our own kayaks. We discovered we could put in at the KP Hole (county park) kayak launch but we had to be there around 7 or we wouldn't get a parking space outside of the park. It took about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to kayak down to the public kayak launch and take-out point at Blue Run which is on the east side of the CR 484 bridge (other side from Swampy’s Bar and Grille). Again, we had to be there early to leave our other vehicle so we could get back to KP Hole. Parking spots are limited. We ate at Swampy’s which served some great gator bites and fried shrimp. On another day, we went tubing at Rainbow River State Park (launch is located on the east side of the river). Also, we had to get there around the park opening time to get a parking spot. They often close the gates when they are full, sometimes as early as 10 am. We were shocked to find out that it costs $24/person regardless of whether you bring your own tubes. Be aware that only non-disposable containers are allowed on the river and it is enforced. The state park has a weird rule about no coolers which apparently includes any bag that is insulated. We learned the hard way. The location of the house was exceptional. Walmart was only 8 minutes from the house. I made an early morning run to get plastic containers and insulated water bottles (those you can take on the river). Swampy’s is located right at the entrance to the subdivision so it was very convenient. The KP Hole was only 13 minutes away. We had a wonderful time on our vacation. If we can’t get a river front place for a future trip, we will definitely stay here again.

Hi! I’m Luke. My wife Juliette and I are young world travelers who love exploring new places, especially if they're tropical!. We have a young 3yr old boy who is the light of our lives.

Why they chose this property

We bought our house at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in order to provide our family with a tranquil refuge to escape the troubles of the world while the pandemic season raged. The house has been an incredible blessing to our family. Waking up to misty sunrises while deer graze in the front yard, drinking coffee in the lanai while reading good books, walking down to the river to watch the setting sun sparkle off the crystal clear water... There have been so many beautiful and serene memories our family has made at this house.

What makes this property unique

Our neighborhood, Blue Cove, is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. Our favorite thing is actually to go on evening walks as the sun sets. The quiet breeze pushes through the moss-covered cypress trees in a way that makes you feel you're walking through a storybook. We have our 'regular' loops we like to take around the neighborhood, each offers it's own views of either our neighborhood 'lake', or of the Rainbow River.
