The property was clean and as described. The air filters and vents were pretty dirty, and the place is very small, but otherwise a nice place to stay

Perfect Weekend Spot!

Such a cute little condo and perfect for us and our 15 month old. She got her own little room and loved all the space under the condo to ride her little bike and play. Cleanliness was awesome, it is one of the cleanest condos I’ve seen in Port A! Had no problems letting her play on the floor and was very comfortable using the dishes and putting our food in the fridge. We’d definitely book again!

Nice place, but hidden fees

The location was nice but the price advertised did not include the other fees like cleaning etc and was double the amount highlighted. Felt like a soccer punch to the gut. Went during Spring Break and there was no availability to eat at any restaurants. Lodging was by far the most expensive part of the trip and twice the price advertised.

Plenty of parking

The house is a little off the beaten path from where we normally like to stay, but we liked the quiet remote spot none the less. We travel with our own trailer and golf cart, so the ample parking was perfect. We. Thought crossing the highway in the cart would be tricky but it really was no problem. The home has all the furnishings needed for a comfortable stay. I would recommend some instructions for the living room tv. There are 5 remotes and no clue which one to use without spending 30 minutes figuring it out. Great spot for our mini family vacation.

A bit more function

Clean, nicely furnished but some broken items. The drawer to the right of the stove kept opening by itself and getting in the way. All the knives were dull but that's normal. Salad tongs broken. Towel rack missing in bathroom. No cutting board. All fairly minor stuff and didn't spoil our fun. Awesome little cottage on stilts. I'd stay there longer next time.

Vacasa needs to do better!

The first house that we reserved house A the AC was broken and we had to pack our belongings and go to house B. Going up and down the stairs packing stuff from one house to another was not fun. House B the house that they sent us to needs a deep cleaning and refurnished. The queen bed in the main bedroom is just a cheap frame and the mattress is not comfortable. The sofa and rug smells like a dog. Chairs at the table were dirty. In the bathroom the shower curtain was dirty and the water pressure is low. The keypad to get in both places was not easy. When we called someone about the AC and the keypad they were not the nicest and no one tried to compensate us in anyway. We went from a hot house to a dirty house. On line they say that these properties are new and that is so not true.

Ok stay

It was clean and right off Main Street. Easy in easy out. Beds were bad. Basically a cot with 3 inch foam on top. The door locked worked(sometimes). The couch wasn’t comfortable at all we used the wood chairs instead. Shower head only sprayed 80% of the water. The living room tv volume was broken so just had to listen to it loud or not at all. All in all it wasn’t bad place just not what we were hoping. The area around the house was under construction which didn’t bother us as much just not what we thought it would be like. The place needed some love. It wasn’t a fresh and tidy and other places. All in all we had a great time and it was nice and quiet. No hair dryer FYI.

Almost a 5 Star Stay

We enjoyed our stay but it wasn’t a 5 star stay. It IS a drive to the beach, not a walk. There were several things that need to be done to make a stay more enjoyable but the number ONE thing for me is the need for a working fan in the master bedroom. The fan “works” but with the remote gone we couldn’t turn off the light without turning off the fan which, in Texas, makes for an uncomfortable night of sleep with No fan to move the air. When I contacted them for help, they said the owner would be replacing the fan and eventually offered “some compensation” credited back to us. At this point, we haven’t seen any compensation for our hot nights. A BBQ pit, single cup coffee maker, and enough “adult sized” utensils/cups for the 7 adults this place says it sleeps, would be a good start. Some of the pluses were they had a few beach towels, left enough dishwasher tabs and laundry detergent, provided 2 trash bags, and it did sleep 7 but the pillows left a lot to be desired. Overall, we had a good stay but not a 5 star stay in my opinion.

Fair

The place was not clean and if you consider this new construction you’ve had some really rotten renters the floors were filthy the carpet was filthy. The cracks on the floor had junk in it. The stove did not work for the first 7 to 8 days. I had no vacuum I had a broom that’s it nothing to wipe the floors down and all rugs were just disgusting. We put beach towels down so we could feel comfortable walking around, the master bedroom whoever came up with that stupid idea for the type of bed that you put in the master bedroom. The shower didn’t work properly for the first 10 days we had to call three times before it finally got worked on. The windows in the whole place had black mold on them. I literally bought some bleach, paper towel and wipe the front two windows so I could stand to look out the windows. The baseboards were not wiped down at all in the bathroom. I took a washcloth with bleach and wiped it down.

Cleanest Property

This by far was the cleanest property we’ve ever stayed at. It was great to not have to spend the first hour or so, after being on the road, cleaning. We will definitely stay here again.

VRBO Mapping & Rental Addresses

VRBO mapped locations are not accurate thereby resulting in location being away from certain amenities which were expected such as golf cart use. Recommend providing address and accurate mapped location in future to ensue renters are in location expected.

Overall great time

Overall my family enjoyed the house and location. Some positive aspects — very close to the beach and lots of restaurants, clean modern layout, two televisions with multiple streaming platforms available for use. When we walked in the home it smelled and looked very clean. Negatives of the house — the Wi-Fi did not work with any tablets, computer or iPhones, but worked fine with streaming through televisions, which makes no sense. Initially to get in the house was difficult because of the lock. The property manager was very responsive. She came out the next morning to help troubleshoot the lock and stated the owner would replace it because it was giving them issues in the recent past. I was able to use the lock with a key without issues. The drain in the bathroom was slow to drain and this was fixed the day we told her as well. Lastly, we received $25 refund per day of our stay for the lack of Wi-Fi to our devices. I would recommend staying at this house. The property manager is very responsive and I was told the owner is looking to change the Wi-Fi provider to make sure the Wi-Fi issue is resolved for the next guest. My family had a blast.

Could be good , but….

This is a cute property that is in a good location, nice and quite, however this house needs work. We couldn’t get into the house because of a faulty lock, sat on hold with property manager for a while before they could give us the code to the lock box so we could get a key to get in. Once we got the key, the door was impossible to get open and re-locked because the lock was faulty and the key would get stuck. It was very frustrating and I can’t imagine this was a new problem. The cleaning crew must have struggled to get in and out🤔 The tv in the bedroom didn’t work because the outlets don’t work and the WiFi also didn’t work. The house is cute, and on the surface it was clean, but the kitchen cabinets and walls were really dirty and the dishes didn’t seem very clean, bedding should be replaced etc. I think this house could be great with just a little bit of attention. Easy fixes.

Cute bungalow

We booked this cute bungalow very last minute and overall it was a decent stay. The furniture needs some updates to make the place comfortable. So glad we were able to find something last minute that allowed us to bring our dog
