Paddle boards, canoes, kayaks & tennis racquets may be rented at Lake Junaluska Rec hut. Water sport amenities available Memorial Day - Labor Day.

We live year-round on the south side of Lake Junaluska and are available if you have questions during your stay.
This is a multi-unit property with 2 studio apartments located in the stone building that sits to the right/back side of the house. These units rent separately and have their own deck, firepit and gas grills.

Paradise for outdoor enthusiasts! Lake Junaluska is a 200 acre lake that is home to bald eagles, swans, Canadian geese & more. Year-round golf, tennis, fishing (NC fishing license required) and walking/biking on the 3.8 mile paved path around the lake. Seasonal pool, paddle board & kayak rentals, mini golf, and shuffleboard. Nestled between the Great Smoky Mountains and The Blue Ridge, we’re surrounded by amazing hiking trails and waterfalls.

- Located 2-3 minutes off Hwy 23/74/19. Paved roads throughout the neighborhood and fast snow plowing in the winter makes for easy year-round visits. Parking on street or in Lake Junaluska parking lot across the street. Elevation 2600 ft.

- Parking available in driveway as well as the grass median directly across from the house. If you have multiple vehicles, you may also use the Lake Junaluska overflow parking lot just below the road.

- 2 pet limit per reservation - 70 pound weight limit per dog
- $75 non-refundable pet fee
- Rentals exceeding 13 nights, the pet fee is assessed per dog
- Dogs MUST be fully housebroken

CLEANING FEE:
-Cleaning Fee $125. For stays of 21 nts or more, a mid-stay cleaning required

Exit Cleaning Fee $125. For stays longer than 21 nights, additional cleanings are automatically scheduled during your visit. A $125 cleaning fee will be assessed for each of these cleanings. (Frequency will depend on length of your stay. Contact us to discuss schedule before booking)

House rules regarding minor housekeeping requirements prior to check-out are posted in the house. (Such as loading/starting dishwasher, trash disposal and emptying refrigerator) If these are not followed and additional housekeeping charges are incurred by host, these charges will be charged to guest

Pool Pass - If the pass is lost or not returned, we charge a $300 fee. (This is the cost of replacing the pass that we would be charged by Lake Junaluska Assembly if our pass is lost. If you lose it, this cost gets passed along to you, NO exceptions.)
