About this property

Breathtaking View at a Magical Waterfront Beach Getaway

Enjoy relaxing under the large all weather covered deck while soaking in the spectacular water and sky views. Close your eyes and listen to the falling water of the Koi pond.

The professional kitchen has been freshly updated with all new quality appliances. Including a Kitchen Aide double oven to prepare great family meals in.

The kitchen counter has a wonderful view of Port Gamble Bay. You don't have to miss the ever changing colors in the sky and on the water while prepping your food.

A spacious main bedroom with a king bed, private bath including a walk in shower and a deep soaking tub.

2 roomy guest bedrooms with queen beds, closets and dressers.

There is a large covered deck with skylights, a couch, table and chairs and a barbeque for your outdoor cooking.

The large private yard features a terrific view of the water as you walk around the well maintained gardens, fruit trees and fire pits.
Sit under an umbrella and listen to the water fountain while enjoying watching fish in the the Koi pond.

The yard is also plenty big enough for playing outdoor games like badminton, croquet or soccer.

Take a walk down the private stairs to sit at the landing or lay in the hammock under the secluded trees and listen the waves coming ashore. Then take the next few steps to the boardwalk to sit and read at the waters edge while listening to wildlife such as sea otter, herons, sea lions and the wonderful call of the eagles.
If you enjoy fresh seafood, gather some oysters to enjoy with a meal.

This beautifully decorated home sits on .61 acres with a view of Gamble Bay.
Travel time from the home to either The Olympic National Park, Sequim or Port Townsend is 45 minutes.

We have an active vegetable garden that is full of colorful vegetables and honey bees.

Being on the waterfront we do often get onshore wind flow that keeps our property considerably cooler during those perhaps too hot summer days.

Nice and cosy home for a while

It was a nice two night stay! Our host Terry was very friendly and very concerned that we feel comfortable in his cosy home! The garden invites to sit down and just relax with a glas of tea or wine. Terry has a love for antique furniture, because His house is wounderful equipped with it!

Spacious 3 bedroom

Pros: Very spacious and interesting place with a homey feel. The kitchen had all of the utensils etc. we needed. The master bedroom was massive with beautiful furniture. The view from the back yard is lovely with a lovely somewhat obstructed panoramic view of Gamble Bay and the land across it. The patio had comfortable seating under cover and a water feature next to the deck. The yard and garden are stunning, chock full of interesting and lovely plants. There is also a water feature in the front that can be heard from one of the bedrooms to the delight of one guest. The house is located behind a furniture repair shop off of a highway but the gold mailbox with two reflecting triangles made is easier to find when coming back from town. You cannot hear the highway from inside of the house. The host, Terry, runs the furniture repair shop and was super friendly and helpful. He allowed us to pick beans in the vegetable garden, gave us a vase of flowers, told us of local walking opportunities and played a song he and his partner had written. He also offered to send a hat to one of the guests who had left it. Cons (for us): There was an error on the website/app describing the house as a 4 bedroom. We were counting on 4 bedrooms but made due with the couches. This error has been corrected. If you are looking for a 3 bedroom then this is a lovely property to rent.

Fun Family Time

We were very impressed with the home inside and the grounds outside. The view of the water was beautiful also. Our host and hostess were both friendly and very accommodating to our needs. We loved the evening of music that they provided for our family. I will recommend this place to everyone and I hope that I will be able to go back there someday.

Great Views!

The deck and gardens are gorgeous and the owners are clearly great gardeners! It was a beautiful location and close to family and friends in Kingston and Poulsbo. Hosts were very gracious, and when we crossed paths they asked if we needed anything. They are right next door but property was very private. It's great that they installed a water filter in the kitchen sink. I would say that was the only complaint was showering in the sulfer smelling water so only recommendation would be a water filter system. Everything else was perfect and pictures accurately reflect the property, bedrooms and kitchen areas.

Great time on the Sound

So, the property is absolutely lovely. It has wonderful charm in every room. The owner is a furniture restorer, so there are wonderful pieces everywhere. The view from the home and the back yard is a fabulous overlook on the Puget Sound. It is filled with a splendidly maintained garden and has an active vegetable garden. Inside is a color explosion on every wall and is incredibly spacious. The property is centrally located with beaches in reach in as little as 10 minutes by car. There is also a surprising amount to do. Tons of museums and activities, nature walks etc are all quite close to the property. The only thing that was a bit of a drawback is the water is well water which has a bit of a Sulphur smell. Don't let it be a big drawback because this place is a little slice of heaven. During our stay, one of the neighbors shot off a 45 minute long fireworks display that we enjoyed while having dinner on the deck. Super secluded and relaxing while being accessible to amenities and the sheer amount of things that have been installed for use in the home were incredible. Would love to go again with the kids.
