Horrible Experience--DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM EVER
I booked this property for my family and I to stay. The host was completely unresponsive. After we landed in the Bahamas, he did not provide the address or keys for the property and refused to answer any of my messages. I had to contact VRBO directly who eventually connected me with the owner (after hours of sitting at the airport well past what was supposed to be my check in time). My family and I sat STRANDED at the airport for hours while he played games with me about the property not being ready. He finally offered to located me another property, took my credit card telling me he was refunding me the original amount, and then CHARGED another 1100. After hours of traveling and 4 upset and hungry kids, we showed up to the alternative property which was not even close to comparable to the property I booked, could not accommodate all 6 of us (it was only meant for 4 people), and was out in the middle of nowhere. At this point, the host stopped responding to me altogether and I had to contact VRBO again who designated us as stranded guests and helped to locate us a suitable alternative. The host is STILL refusing to refund my money and has been nothing but a liar since the start of this. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM EVER. They are scammers.
