What a wonderful lovely historic home! Best of historica character with modern amenities. Very close to town and convenient. David and Gina are fantastic hosts and made us feel so comfortable!
Beautiful house and perfect location! The house was so charming and Gina, the owner, was lovely to work with. Very welcoming! Would definitely rent again!
We had a wonderful time staying in this great Nantucket home. The location was ideal for going into town to shop/eat. The house was great and the outdoor patio was a plus. Would definitely rent this house again.
Gina was very easy to communicate with and the property was wonderful. Walked everywhere very convenient and beautifully decorated and organized. Loved it!
Charming, historic and just a stones' throw from town
We stayed at Gina's beautiful home for our annual girls' trip and it did not disappoint! Looks even better than the photos online. I loved the historic charm and the best part: it was walking distance from all of our favorite places in town. My friends and I create social media content for a living, and Gina's home was the perfect backdrop for our posts. Would 100% stay here again!
This house is classic Nantucket. Preserved and elevated. Perfect location - walkable to main Street shops and restaurants, yet tucked away with a beautiful outdoor space. House and owners 10 out of 10!
We had an amazing stay in Nantucket and Gina was a great host! She provided a comprehensive overview of the property about a week out from the stay which included check in / check out details. The house itself was perfect for 6 adults - tons of space and just a short ~3 minute walk into town. Would definitely recommend this property to friends visiting Nantucket!
Our stay at 24 Union was perfect. Everything you could hope for. The home so charming and yet practical. Town literally outside your doorstep. Gina is a perfect communicator and so responsive. I am so delighted we chose this home. You will love it.
We loved the home. Great location. The house itself was a wonderful mix of old an new -- great kitchen and upstairs master bedroom; old world charm that lets you feel you are living history. Even the cellar was pretty cool.
We'd highly recommend the place. The owners have plenty of beach chairs and other toys. The garden area is private, and the gas fireplace creates a very cool romantic spot (okay, its hard to be romantic when you share space with your adult children, but hey...). The check in/out process was efficient. A real gem.
Everything about this rental made our visit great. The house was very cozy and charming with all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect to walk into town for all of the Christmas cheer.
We had a lovely time in Nantucket during our stay in October. The house has a great location with walking distance to everything the town has to offer.
Gina is a wonderful host and very responsive and dealt amazingly with a snafu we had in the house. ( Sorry again and thank you for deailing with it so calmly!!)
Our whole group was amazed to stay in a house that is older than this nation!!! The age brings its charm and excitment. The old wood floors tilt in some areas of the house and give you the feeling to be on a ship.
We traveled with two 12 year olds who were excited to have a roomy upstairs loft all to themselves. A great space with lots of privacy.
The spacious dining area is outside in a lovely private backyard and is complimented by a nice fire pit table which offers space to get together.
We had a lovely stay with enough space for everone and made wonderful memories!
The house is right in town, very cool inside, and has tons of bedrooms. I will definitely be booking this house again. The host was very responsive and super nice. 100% recommend.
Many awesome memories made in this lovely house in Nantucket. Beautiful house perfect location and cozy outdoor space to unwind after exploring the island!
Gina and Dave are consummate hosts. Unfortunately our group dealt with the process of having to rebook and find a place last minute, their constant and consistent communication made us confident that our stay would be great. And boy were we right!!
From their detailed explanation of the property we knew we were in for a treat, but even their exceptional description/photos did not do their home justice. It is IMMACUALTE and the quintessential downtown Nantucket home! Built in the 1700’s it is charming and holds all the character of a mariner’s home you would come to expect if you have visited Nantucket previously.
We were welcomed with a small gift that was very thoughtful which highlighted our seamless check in experience.
Our stay was perfect, from location, to number and size of beds, and 3 full bathrooms. It was perfect for our group made of 30 year old couples.
We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to downtown and Uber’s to any other place across the island were easy to get and affordable.
My group and I would absolutely stay here again, we loved this home and highly recommend Gina and Dave as hosts!

About the host
Hosted by David and Gina Pfund
We are lifetime visitors to Nantucket who finally became islanders in 2020. When our three children were young we would rent various properties on island for two to three weeks at a time and understand what is needed to make a vacation stay comfortable and relaxing. We love and appreciate everything about this most magical place, located 30 miles offshore and we know you will as well.
Why they chose this property
We chose this historic district in Nantucket town since you can walk to everything, restaurants, beaches, shopping, boating and outdoor activities. Avid walkers will find themselves walking outdoors most mornings visiting straight wharf, afternoons for a quick town lunch and evenings at the Dreamland theater and getting ice cream from the Juice Bar. 24 Union is three blocks away from the Club Car with its fantastic piano bar and Gaslight with various bands and entertainment.
What makes this property unique
24 Union is located in the old historic district of Town with walking access to the center of town, restaurants, shops and market. There is off-street parking that we added in 2020 for one mid-size car. The two story home has two living areas, and three televisions. There is outdoor eating at the eight person dining table located in the private fenced-in yard and seating area with firepit and grille.
24 Union was built in 1754 and has retained many original characteristics of this historic home including original floors, fireplaces and front staircase. The artist Paul Longenecker previously owned 24 Union and used the second floor of the home as his art studio and gallery where patrons would view and purchase his paintings.
24 Union was once part of a Nantucket holiday home tour to represent structures built in the mid 1700's.
