We truly enjoyed our stay with 2 families -- 4 adults and 6 kids up to 12yo. Manitou Springs is only 30m away where we did the Garden of the Gods, Cog Train, walked around the town and played in the park. The home has places to sled if rheres snow.
Omg this was the perfect place for our valentines weekend getaway. The property owner was very nice! The home was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of the mountains.
Being from S. It is a lovely property and we had a wonderful time. Gorgeous view, lots of space. We simply enjoyed resting, relaxing, decompressing, and each other's company.
The house and scenery were beautiful. There was plenty of room and it had everything we needed for our stay. We liked that the location was secluded but still close enough to all the attractions we wanted to see. We had a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
If your looking for a secluded place to stay, while also being a short distance away from town, this is it. The views are fantastic! And the owner truly has thought of everything to make your stay as smooth as possible; from labels throughout the home to eliminate guessing to a SHORT list of check out tasks to complete. Host was super responsive to questions, and was willing to work with us on a few requests that he was not obligated to entertain. This family vacation was truly memorable because of this home and this host. We will definitely stay here again!
This house is the perfect vacation spot for anyone seeking some peace and quiet. While conveniently close to shops, restaurants and tourist spots, you’ll still feel secluded on this property. The house is spacious and just as described. Our favorite part was sitting on the deck and enjoying the many birds and critters that visit the feeder. We had a blast and were sad to leave. Would 100% stay again.
We enjoyed the place very much. Wonderful views of the forest and mountains. The home was very clean and had every amenity. Kyle was a great host who helped us get settled in.
We had a wonderful time in this home. The views were absolutely beautiful, the area offered good exploring for the kids, and it was close enough to grocery stores so we were able to grab any things we needed throughout the time. We had so much fun looking for wildlife and it was great to have space for family members to spread out and get some privacy if they wanted.
We had a great stay. The property was as promoted. The owner was available and very responsive. I highly recommend this property if you’re in the area!
Place was great. Pictures due no justice, this is absolutely a must see. Even though it was over an hour away from our events, this place made our trip that much more magical.
The pictures of this property don’t do it justice - it’s impressively maintained and the view is just stunning. A perfect and peaceful retreat for the whole family.
Great place to come back to after a long day of site seeing and hiking. To sit on the deck with a view of pikes peak was so relaxing. We also did some walking around on the property and saw mule deer, turkeys and little critters. It was hard to leave.
I should also mention that Kyle, the host, was responsive and gave some great ideas on attractions to visit.
One suggestion would be to offer a telescope.
We really enjoyed our stay - the house had everything we needed, the house was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to be so secluded; it made our vacation very peaceful. The view was amazing and we even got to see some deer come right up to the house. We were a little concerned about visiting in July without A/C, but it turned out to be a non-issue. The temps while we were there got into the 80s, but the house had a number of fans so with windows open and fans on, the temperature in the house remained comfortable. We would definitely stay again!
We spent a long weekend with our 3 kids (13,11 & 8) and my parents at your gorgeous property. We went snowshoeing and sledding in Mueller State Park as well as on your property, watched old movies, cooked and checked out a couple of local eateries. It was a wonderful time and we will definitely be back!
This was our 4th stay at the property and once again we experienced a wonderful stay. The location is perfect for us close enough to towns, but we truly feel like we are in a secluded area. Kyle is always so friendly and helpful, we would recommend this home to anyone!
Soooo very happy with this house! Such welcoming atomsphere and view of Pikes Peak. Beatiful weather! Last day before leaving we stayed in and watched the snowfall 8-10 in. So pretty! Highly recommend this owner and property.
