Some distances: Modica (40 km), with the archaeological sites of Cava dIspica, Scicli (55 km) nestled between mountains and sea and Catania (93 km) at the foot of Mount Etna. Just 20 km away is Pozzallo, from where you can embark for the island of Malta.
