Less expectations

House was adequate, back & front yard VERY disappointing. Tiki bar was in useable, grills were a mess we could not use them. A lot of garbage laying around. Very disappointed!!

overall, this was a nice safe place in a great location. what the house was lacking in comfort or working condition it made up for in the proximity to the beaches and fun. the owner is a great communicator.

St Pete's House "NOT" Heaven

House was in very poor shape with safety concerns and needs a very good cleaning. The house was not as advertised on Vrbo. With airline, hockey and baseball tickets for family and friends already purchased, we had no choice but to live with the deficiencies. Very disappointing to have walked into this mess and should never have been in this condition. Kitchen extremely dirty not able to use the majority of the cabinets. Garbage is all around the backyard and deck. Broken patio furniture, moldy cushions, plumbing parts and insulation. The deck in extremely poor condition. Cracked wooden pieces, holes in boards, broken steps, electric panels exposed. Tiki bar bench was broken and black mold all over the countertops. Hot water tank not installed correctly therefore showers were cold. Advertised having 3 bathrooms and a hot tub. No hot tub and only 2 indoor bathrooms. Outside bathroom completely unusable. Water leak in main room when raining. Black mold and water damage. Did reach out to property managers Max and Wayne to make them aware of all the above issues. Wayne did clear the outside garbage 2 days prior to our exit. Water heater was not fixed during our stay, and we had to change our plans twice to accommodate plumber and electrician. Asked owner for 50% refund and he offered 15%. We declined in hopes we could prevent other Vrbo renters from same experience. The photos on Vrbo in "our opinion" are at least 10 years old, owner would not comment on how old.

Charming property

The photos on the listing do not do the house justice. It was very roomy for our family of 5. The house is older, and charming. Roomy bedrooms, big master bath, large kitchen, and huge very private back yard. A great value for the price of the listing. The owner was very responsive when I had questions about the pool and about garbage collection.

So many things to do!

Nice area close to anything you could possibly need or want. Property had many great amenities and spaces for everyone to enjoy. Between the Tiki bar, basketball goal, Arcade game, huge deck and big back yard plus a great pool there was never a dull moment and always something to keep us entertained. Good communication with host and all around great time. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation home for our family. :-)
