Welcome to the Cactus Flats! A beautifully renovated, first floor condo in the prestigious Ventana Vista Condominiums. Located just 1/2 mile from stunning Sabino Canyon, we offer a relaxing, stylish home away from home!

MASTER BEDROOM:
Our Master Bedroom has an extremely comfortable King Bed with lots of extra pillows and blankets to create your perfect night's sleep. Ample storage space in both the bedroom and walk-in closet means you never have to live out of your suitcase. Unpack and relax! An iron and ironing board are provided, as are hangers, so you will always look your very best. A 50" Smart TV with Netflix will let you cozy up in bed while watching a movie. Spa robes are hanging in the closet for your use, so you can feel right at home. Blackout curtains and shades allow you to control your light for the most restful sleep. A pack-n-play is in the closet, ready for our tiny guests.

MASTER BATH:
The spacious Master Bathroom features two sinks, toilet and a large tub and shower. You'll feel like you walked into a soothing spa with the plush towels and beautiful decor. A hairdryer, black makeup towels and more are provided for you.

SECOND BEDROOM:
Our second bedroom is perfect for both the kids and adults. Twin beds can be converted into a King bed with ease. Just let us know when booking which setup you prefer. The light and airy decor lends itself to a peaceful night's sleep. Blackout or light filtering shades let you control how much light you want.

SECOND BATH:
A full second bath features a single sink, toilet and shower/tub combo. Extra towels are always available.

KITCHEN:
We love to cook! That's why we stocked our kitchen with beautiful stainless-steel pots and pans, bakeware, serving dishes, utensils and more. We've provided you with spices, oil and sugar... the simple staples people often forget. A fully stocked coffee/tea station, blender, toaster, and other details make it feel like you are in your own kitchen. Tucson may have AMAZING restaurants, but for those who want to cook at home... you absolutely can!

DINING ROOM:
A beautiful raw wood edge table with 4 chairs fill the dining space. 2 additional chairs are in the Master Bedroom/Closet if you need them, as well as a highchair for the little ones. And speaking of little ones... in addition to the regular dishes, we have a set of unbreakable Corelle dishes for kids to use, plus placemats that easily wipe clean.

LIVING ROOM:
Our living room has a comfortable leather couch and two leather reading chairs so there is plenty of space to relax while watching the 65" TV or reading a book by the brand-new electric fire (you can choose your flame color and heat level by remote control). We provide Netflix for all our guests, so feel free to browse for your favorite shows. Game night is one of our family's favorites, so we've also provided a few options to keep the family busy together!

LAUNDRY:
A washer/dryer is available for your use, and we provide detergent, softener and wool dryer balls.

PATIO:
There is a lovely, private patio off the dining room which has two stylish and comfortable chairs to enjoy your morning coffee and listen to the sounds of the desert.

COMMUNITY SPACES:
The Condo Community features a spa (literally steps from the property just past the patio), a heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, pool table, and a workout facility. The keys are right by the front door for you to always use and tennis racquets/balls are in the front closet. Green and white striped pool towels are in the hall closet for you to bring to the pool, spa or gym!

OUR COMMITMENT TO CLEAN:
We stock the property with CLEAN, NON-TOXIC products! Modere products are highly committed to European Standards of health and safety. We fully sanitize and deep-clean the property between guests, however, a toxic chemical free space is important to us, and we hope you appreciate it as well. Plus, the products are absolutely fantastic, and we use them in our own home!

OUR WELCOME GUIDE:
Once you book, a digital welcome guide will be sent to you filled with recommendations for restaurants, shopping, hiking and more. A printed guidebook is also available in the flat. Another fabulous extra... since SABINO CANYON is so close (literally 0.5 miles door to door), we have provided our guests with a season pass to use! Please take good care of it (and leave it hanging by the door) so that all our visitors can experience the beauty and joys of the Sonoran Desert (and one of our family's favorite places to hike).

We fell in love with Tucson 20+ years ago and know you will love it too! A "little big town", Tucson is known for incredible restaurants, golfing, hiking, and so many wonderful places to explore. Great Stay

We spent 2 wonderful months in this condo and felt at home. It’s in Ventana Vista complex and is our sixth time each in a different condo. We were within walking distance of Sabino Canyon which was great. The grounds are very well kept up and was very quiet with very friendly neighbors. Our condo was decorated very nicely. The owners were quite friendly and were very responsive with a couple minor issues.

Nice break from snow

The condo is well appointed and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed visiting the local parks, museums, and sampling the fantastic authentic Mexican food.

The residence was so bright, clean, so well thought out as to where the rooms were and even a chair in the nice big closet to sit to get dressed. We loved the big T.V. in the living room and got spoilt watching Netflix movies. Christina was a pleasure to work with. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

Great condo to rent. We enjoyed our stay in this clean, organized, well stocked, roomy two bedroom, two bath condo. The owner is super communicative and helpful. Excellent guide in the condo of things to see and do in the area. We loved staying so close to Sabino Canyon. Wonderful hiking area.

Perfect place to stay!

This condo is absolutely beautiful. The property manager had excellent communication with us from the minute we book until we left. The place is full updated and spacious and the pool is great. Many added amenities. We enjoyed using the park pass to go hiking nearby. We look forward to staying her again.

Amazing condo

Christina's place was fantastic with great amenities. We dropped off our son at the U of A and her place was a nice retreat from the busy day. The condo was super clean with modern furnishings and decor. The AC worked great, the shower pressure was awesome and the beds were super comfy. I wish we had more time to take advantage of everything the condo had to offer. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone staying in Tucson. wish we hadcomfortable.

Excellent Stay in Tucson

Cactus Flats is a wonderful vacation property! We found the apartment to be immaculate, tastefully furnished, and thoughtfully equipped with amenities that made our stay easy and comfortable. The condo complex was nicely low-key, with fine pool and hot tubs and friendly neighbors. Hosts Christina and Orest were very responsive to any questions or needs for assistance we had. Highly recommended!

Wonderful property

Christina really thought of everything when she renovated this property. They kitchen was very well equipped with top end knives and pots and pans. Bathrobes, comfy beds and a hot tub almost out the back door! Perfect after a day of hiking at nearby Sabino Canyon! This deserves all the 5 star ratings!

getting away from Wisconsin's November blahs

We have been in Tucson five times, long enuff to know we like the catalina side of the valley! Our daughter and spouse planned to visitus for several days, so we wanted a two bedroom unit. Catus Flat perfectly filled the bill, just right sized to hold four, and then after our family left, still made us feel cozy and warm . The hosts were extremely responsive to our needs. Next time we will come here again!

Better than the pictures

Everything was spotless. The little touches like shampoo and lotion were appreciated. Christina always replied to any question within minutes and very thoughtfully provided some stater groceries like eggs, butter and drinks. She had a great brochure for guests available with all the information needed to enjoy the condo and the area.

Fab Hiking - Beautiful Condo

We spent a fabulous week at Christina’s condo. The unit was incredibly well-appointed and it is clear that a lot of time and attention has been given to everything there, from the towels and robes to the kitchen’s knives and pots and pans to the comfortable beds and pillows. We truly felt at home. The check-in process was simple and Christina was highly responsive to any questions I had. For us, the highlight of the stay was the proximity of the Sabino Canyon Recreational Area. It is within walking distance of the condo and offers extensive hiking trails. Again, we had a terrific stay. Highly recommend!

Spring Ventana Vista Visit

The Cactus Flats condo is ideally situated near a small outdoor spa which we utilized every day. The condo kitchen was well equipped and the owner provided many condiments. The location in the complex was very convenient and my husband was invited to join a pickleball game which luckily the owners had provided equipment in the unit. Condo is very clean and the owner is very acessible. Very nice unit overall.

A Successful Family Reunion

We had a lovely stay in this newly remodeled condo. Every detail was thoughtfully considered from the aesthetics , to whatever one might need to make a stay easy and enjoyable. We felt pampered. The manager was responsive, professional and courteous. The unit’s hot tub and swimming pool were well maintained and especially loved by our 4 year granddaughter. Sabino Canyon is nearby and gorgeous. We hiked their almost every day. Another example of their thoughtfulness was providing a pass to the Canyon for free entry. Our family reunion was memorable and we all want to return to Cactus Flats. Thank you.

Great condo and location!

Christina, our host reached out a few times to make sure all was well. We never requested anything because we were pleased with everything. The condo was well supplied and the amenities were wonderful. My grown sons loved going to play pool and watch sports at the clubhouse. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. If you wanted a bite to eat or a drink, you could walk to a nearby casual restaurant that had live music. The tv was huge with comfortable seating. We liked watching Netflix shows in the evening. This area of Tucson is lovely with many good restaurants and hiking in Sabino Canyon only minutes away. We did venture downtown for a Food Tour (highly recommend this activity). You get to experience the original Tucson and learn about its history but loved returning to our Condo in the Catalina Foothills. So pretty here.

Perfectly curated vacation property

This apartment is not your average VRBO. The owner made great attention to detail to create an upscale & professionally managed accommodation. Christina has fashionably renovated a 2 bedroom ground floor condo. Everything is in tip top shape. From the fluffy white towels to the pretty glassware, you will enjoy every moment of your stay. She provided us coffee, tea, and several types of milk (normal and vegan) along with eggs to start our morning. You'll also have access to Sabino Canyon for free with the included park pass. This was a great condo and we'd love to stay again!

Home away from home!

We had a lovely stay! The property was beautiful and just as pictured. The beds were soft, and bedding just the right weight for Arizona heat. The couch, living room, kitchen and dining were a treat, too. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into the smaller touches, and deliberately made sure to use nice quality furniture and cooking appliances. It's clear they wanted it to feel like a premium stay with the tools needed to cook, lounge or workout readily nearby. All in all, a great stay - would definitely come back if I return to Tuscon!
