Secluded Mountain View Cabin w Private Lake Access
This secluded cozy cabin sleeps 4 and is nestled in the hills of Lake Douglas. With mountain views and lake front access, you'll have time to relax, fish, boat and view the mountains from the back porch. 25 minutes from Pigeon Forge (Dollywood) and 45 minutes from Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain Nation Park. There is no shortage of things to do in this area, but while you're back at the cabin, you'll be happy you chose Shady Shore. The hill to the lake is quite steep. We have a path, however it is challenging. Fireplace is electric. *The lake water level is low from Sept to March*

very clean, everything we needed, great host-we would Definity stay here again, private location yet not too far from main attractions..we loved this cabin!!
The location is amazing with the views of the mountain tops and just the overall beautiful scenery. The cabin was everything you could want from the cozy environment to the home lifestyle. We loved this place so much and can’t wait to go back and stay again sometime.
Cute decor, fair price, getting down to the fire pit is a bit of an effort but definitely doable. We have always gone to different vrbos in Dec due to our anniversary, most are decorated a little bit for the holiday. Not expected but it is always appreciated. Kitchen is nice and the filtered water machine is a nice touch! Thank you!
We went as a late birthday trip and we loved every minute of our stay there. We loved the cabin, so cute and cozy! The house was very clean and we enjoyed being able to come back to a homey feel after our adventures throughout the day. The loft area with the arcade games was a great touch! The view from the kitchen window and deck area is gorgeous! We will book there again when we return!
This cabin is perfect for a peaceful getaway. The sunrise and sunsets can both be enjoyed from the porch while sitting on the comfortable patio furniture. I love the privacy of the property as you really can’t see any neighbors. You can take back roads to all the major attractions and miss the traffic on the parkway as well. I highly recommend staying here! The host is great and cares that you have the best stay. Thank you!!
We really wanted to enjoy the lake, but couldn’t,…it was to far down the hill for older people…
We felt like there was no extra attention to anything, lawn wasn’t mowed, weeds everywhere,no dusting was done, windows had dead bugs in them.
Just was expecting a little nicer…
Truly enjoyed our stay, it was lake life week. the property was very nice, clean, easy no frills interaction. I'd recommend staying here. Nothing like spending mornings on the deck, drinking coffee - it's like a commercial for maxwell house.
My sister and I loved the cabin and it's cozy amenities. Waking up to the amazing views and quiet natural surroundings was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge!
This beautifully decorated cabin is so peaceful and relaxing and has the most stunning views of the lake as you watch the sunrise and set during your stay. It is well worth the drive up the hill to be there. We will definitely be going back!
Great cabin, peaceful & charming. Clean and cozy. Winding road leading to cabin was fun. Host was very responsive and helpful. Great sense of humor, too.
Cozy Cabin the excellent Holiday Vacation in Sevierville Mountains ..
The Family and I had an amazing holiday vacation.
At the Mountains of Sevierville in Cozy Cabin.
everything from the cabin to its mountain views were.
the family and I shared well needed quality time together.
from the hustle and bustle of the fast-paced City Life of Miami, Fl. We also enjoy the just minutes away attractions such as Dollywood, the Island at Pigeon Forge, the Titanic Museum, Anakessta ,Laurel falls trail .were we shared memorable moments..
the Host is amazing easy to contact and accommodating thanks again and till next time ..
This cabin is the perfect get away for a couple. Very quiet, clean and relaxing. Mornings on the porch were great. Evenings watching the sunset were awesome.
We enjoyed our stay. Our kids loved the cabin. There were a few minor things that could have been fixed, or in working order. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you
This cabin was just the right size for a family of 4. There is a well stocked kitchen. Our boys enjoyed the space upstairs in the loft. Thanks for a fun time
Cozy, quiet relaxing cabin off the main roads/highway. Very winding back roads but worth the drive. Close enough to fun activities in downtown Sevierville and Pigeon Forge areas. Highly recommend hiking any trails nearby.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views from & time spent on the deck were our favorites. The stay would have been even better had the fireplace been in working order, a place to dine on the deck, and dock furnishings, i.e., table, chairs, umbrella, padded board, kayak, etc. Also, there was no place to put away groceries, except for limited counter-tops. We basically enjoyed our stay but would not return....
The cabin is perfect for small groups looking for a secluded vibe that is still close to the action. Sunrise is a must do at this place.

Why they chose this property
We absolutely fell in love with this area. I traveled here when I was a kid and finally made it back with the family a few years back. We have been traveling here every year since. My wife wanted lake front and I wanted mountain views. It wasn't easy to find both in the area but we were lucky to find this little gem of a cabin which boasts both. All year long we talk about our next trip to the cabin. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
Amazing view from the back porch with lake front access to enjoy that lake life.
