While relaxing on the huge deck overlooking the river, you will hear the roaring rapids, see the abundance of wildlife and be wowed by the breathtaking views. This 3-bedroom, 3-bath cabin sits on 1 1/2 acres that will give you a rustic feel with modern conveniences. The moderate hike to the river will lead you thru the woods and past many additional river viewing spots. There are two fire pits available to make your smores and memories. The space The cabin has 2 bedrooms (2 queen) on the main level and the master (king) upstairs. There is a full basement with a washer/dryer and game rooms. It also has central heat & air. There is a full bathroom on every level and 2 walkout decks overlooking the woods and river. The kitchen has recently (5/2023) been redone with all new cabinets and granite countertops. Guest access It is in a gated community with 4 access gates. We recommend coming in the main gate only. It is a huge resort with lots of twisty roads. We are located about 3 miles from that gate with only 5 turns required. Most roads are paved, only the last one is gravel. We have a driveway where you can park next to the house. Additional parking also available within short distance. The cabin is in a resort and we will provide 2 access cards to the amenities. Each pass will allow 4 guest in. We have 2 outdoor pools and a rec center with an indoor pool, workout space, tennis courts and putt putt. Other things to note We are kid friendly, but not necessarily 100% "kid safe". Our kids are grown so we don't have the special furniture (unless you consider our outdoor swing one). It is on the side of a mountain so the terrain can be steep. We have steps to make it easier and safer. It does have river access and the river flows fast with deep parts so while it's fun to go in, younger kids need to be watched.

I came back for a second stay because we had such a great time during our first visit. The cabin was just as beautiful as the first time. We love the peaceful atmosphere and scenery. Dan is an awesome host!
Very nice cabin for my visiting friends. Everything we needed was there. Great entertainment spaces, but the porch was our favorite hangout. The river was so peaceful to hear. I’ve stayed in this neighborhood before, but this has been my favorite so far. Love all the wildlife. Would stay here again for sure.
The property and cabin were immaculate. Short walk down to the river, deer everywhere in the community at all times of the day. Dan, the host was great. Very easy check in and out. Planning on another visit here again. Couldn’t have been nicer.
Our family of 5 came to stay for a weekend it did not disappoint! I can't wait to book agian forna longer tome to get to thoroughly enjoy what the atea has to offer. The home was clean and felt welcoming! Everything you need to have a great visit is right there. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
My family had a fantastic stay. I have stayed a many VRBOs and this is definitely one of my favorites. They have everything you need. The beds were comfy and the decks overlooking the river was the best part. Spent most my time out there listening to the river. The hike to the river is definitely an adventure but worth it. There are deer all over the place. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax. It is beautiful!
My mom and her cousin spent a long weekend at the cabin. They enjoyed their time sitting on the porch listening to the water, reading, and watching numerous deer. The back porch contains a lot of comfortable seating, as does the family room indoors. The hosts provided some chocolates as well as condiments in the fridge which was an extra nice touch. The only addition they would request to this cabin is some nonslip mats for the showers for those that are older. They had a fabulous time and will be going back next year.
Cannot say enough good things about this place..Owners spared no expense.
Absolutely beautiful accommodations and decor..would love to come back in the summer..Soooo quiet and relaxing..our dog loved running up and down to the river..and attempting to cach up to the local deer..but never did..
Everything you may need is close by as well.
The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. There are also river floats and pump available. The owner also leaves some corn to feed the deer that come by the cabin.
The river area is a little rocky in some areas but there’s a nice sandy area that you can put in chairs and relax! The river is my favorite part of this rental!
The water is less than knee deep in a good sized area where the current is nice and slow. On the other side of the river, it is deeper with a faster current.
To get down to the river is a walkway through the woods with some stairs (about 5 or six flights), with areas in between that are dirt with some areas of uneven ground with some large tree roots.
I actually like the walk down to the river 😜 but it is definitely not for people that can’t walk/ hike in uneven terrain.
There’s so much to do in the surrounding area! We went apple picking and went to some wineries. Our dog loves it here, and so do we!
We’re had an amazing time! The River was beautiful! We sat in chairs while our dog played and swam! The deer visit the cabin property every day, as well as seeing numerous deer on resort grounds!
Such a great cabin! Nice, quiet location, super clean, and well stocked with all the things you tend to forget while traveling. Daily/nightly visits from a whole herd of deer, had a great time feeding them with the food provided in the fridge. The water is a bit of a hike to get to, but still an amazing view!
This place is wonderful. One of the best vacations we have ever been on. Nice slow pace, very quiet and relaxing. The view from the back porch was absolutely beautiful. Everything you need is already there. House was fully stocked. Wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!
We enjoyed our stay immensely. The house was well received, but wished someone would've left a light on for us. We came in at night time. Our pups had a great time scaling the hillside & running by the river. The family loved the campfire and sitting on the porch overlooking the river. The best part was feeding the deer. All-in-all we had a relaxing stay. Would highly recommend this cabin. Thank you Dan for being a wonderful host!
We had a great stay. It was welcoming and cozy. This place is the first time I’ve slept half decent away from home. We really enjoyed the property and do plan on staying again in the near future, if possible. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful property with us.
Thank you so much for hosting us. We loved the cabin and property. The amenities were very clean and easily accessible. The giant porch swing on the porch overlooking the river was definitely our favorite part of our stay. The wildlife is actually friendly toward people, we made a few deer friends :) We definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants a nice, quiet getaway that is a little off the beaten path.
The property is located in a wonderful neighborhood with wonderful views of the river. The deer are plentiful and the house is well maintained and prepared for visitors.
The cabin was just as described and much more! Very clean with plenty of room. The river in the back was beautiful, and we loved to sit out on the porch and look at the scenery. The Christmas decorations were also a lovely touch. Dan was a wonderful host and very helpful. Would definitely come back for another stay sometime!
Wanted to get away for the weekend for some peace and quiet. The house was more than we expected. Beautiful, spacious with an absolutely amazing view of the river from the back balcony. First road trip with our shin t us and we were a little concerned how they would behave. They seem mesmerized with the house and the river. Their fav place was the balcony. Perfect little gentleman. The only drawback for us was not being able to watch the Ga/Fla game.
This property is so amazing and peaceful! The view of the river from the upper level back porch is unforgetable. Its perfect for coffee in the morning. The house is beautifully decorated, well stocked and designed for fun family time and relaxation. There are deer everywhere and came right up to the house. I am so thankful that we rented this gem and we can't wait to come back! Thank you so much for everything, Dan.
