The space
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, this house has been disinfected (with bleach and 70% alcohol products) based on guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (C.D.C). Also in addition to thoroughly disinfecting the home per CDC guidelines, we are also paying close attention to disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before you check in. Cleaning checklist available for your review via Airbnb messaging.
Please read through all of the information and ensure your Airbnb profile is complete including the trust and verification. We are happy to answer any questions.

Open floor plan to maximize the amazing views throughout the home. Large 1950's single pane windows throughout the living room, kitchen and bedrooms. High ceilings. Home has some heat loss due to large single pane windows and high ceilings. New forced air furnace heats the living room and kitchen area. Bedrooms are without heat source but we keep cozy warm on cool nights by throwing an extra blanket on the bed and keeping doors open so air from living room flows into bedrooms. There usually is morning fog which can burn off by noon and wind may blow off the bay in the early evenings so be sure to bring a warm sweater and some slippers to cozy up with while watching the fog roll in and out! Small decks and patio areas enhance your living space while enjoying the views. Bring your sunglasses and watch the golfers while having your morning coffee and/or lovely lunch. Try to make it home in time to watch the sunset over the bay while sitting on our little deck. Watch the Monarch butterflies on their migration and breeding grounds (seasonal). Two Smart TVs, with wireless internet access to stream your tv shows on your Hulu, Netflix, etc accounts. Cuisinart Coffee machine with washable gold filter. Wireless Bluetooth Speaker. Enjoy golf, surfing, hiking, bird watching, great restaurants, wine tasting, shopping, and much more! Other amenities: Small washer/dryer combo, BBQ, microwave, gas stove/oven, pots, pans, plates, utensils. Sorry, no pets. There is absolutely no smoking on the premises (owner has severe smoke allergy).
Guest access
Electronic door lock - you will be issued a unique code, so you don't have to worry about losing keys! Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 11am. During peak times we often have back to back rentals and need to clean the same day so please be mindful of these times. Usually we are out of town when we have guests and will not have the pleasure of meeting you. We are always accessible by phonel and respond quickly to all questions and concerns. Thank you! WiFi access to stream online content.
Other things to note
Home is professionally cleaned prior to each reservation and we have dedicated guest linens. During each cleaning all items are removed from refrigerator, and cabinets. Bring food and spices although we do have the basics...salt, pepper, garlic powder, season salt, foil, plastic wrap, ziplock baggies, trashbags. Small sample size shampoo and soap provided for you through the first night stay. Albertsons is 1 mile from home.
Please know that this home was built in 1950's and it has some quirks and this what makes the home fun! Wall switches can be tricky locating the the right one to turn on a particular light. Most switches have been labeled to help connect with particular light. Blinds are heavy...they work best if you pull string slowly to open and close. Bedrooms heated by gas wall heaters or just leave doors open and heat from living room/kitchen area will flow in and warm bedroom areas. Beds have soft sheets, fluffy pillows, cozy alternative down blankets and comforters. There are two Smart TVs, with wireless internet access to stream your tv shows on your Hulu, Netflix, etc accounts.

Older home with nice view of golf course

Owners were excellent with communication. Had small issue with neighbors parking on street, making it hard to get out of driveway at times. But owners tried to handle it best they could. Also I don’t recommend this place for small children. There are things that could easily break. And also, a lot of the outlets in the house are only 2 prong, and not three. Important to know when packing cords for electronics.

Old house needs updating

We didn’t see any reviews so we decided we better review now. Pros- quiet neighborhood fairly private nice patio plenty of room. Cons -there are several heating systems in the house and they’re all very loud and hard to control to get the temperature comfortable. We were always cold or hot. And it was a long night hearing the heater go on and off and on and off. The mattresses are really old and have big divots where people have slept for many many years. Not comfortable. We never got the microwave, the toaster or the oven to work. There is no dishwasher. We asked the host for a late check out because there was no one checking in for a few days and it was a Sunday. They said that was OK but we have to pay them more !We spent top dollar for five nights and they’re gonna charge us for a late checkout?
