We came to town for a quick get away and do a little fishing. House was comfortable and warm when we arrived. This was very nice since we drove through a mountain storm to get there. Look forward to staying again.
Our family group loves boogie boarding, biking, rollerblading, exploring the redwoods, and eating seafood. The location is great for all those excursions. The accommodations are family friendly. The property is somewhat dated, however that didn’t really impact our stay.
Great experience with this rental 🌻 met the needs of our family Comfortable and well equipped with necessities 🌻 great location quiet neighborhood and location to access the nearby community and beach 🏝️ access

Stay in a different town
If visiting NorCal stay in Eureka or Brookings. Crescent city, sadly like this property, is disappointing.
The only complaint we have is that it’s a duplex and the neighbors were noisy both nights, sharing a wall made it difficult to get good rest. Other than that, it was just as pictured and worked great for our weekend away!

Dog house
Pretty dusty. The furnace grate needs a thorough cleaning. Dog hair all over couch and bed spread. Stains on cloth chair seated and carpet.
Nice location, nice little backyard for dogs, except the lawn was pretty high.
No info in home to contact host with problems
This charming house turned out to be an absolute gem for our Thanksgiving weekend in Crescent City. Having booked just weeks before our trip, we couldn't have found a better fit for our family visit with Mom and Grandma. The home's cozy atmosphere made it feel warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped inside.
One of the highlights for our four-legged family members was the secure, gated outdoor area, which gave them plenty of space to explore safely between our walks. The location is truly unbeatable - the ocean is just a leisurely five-minute stroll away, perfect for morning walks or catching spectacular sunsets. We also loved being within easy walking distance to Seaquake Brewing, which added a nice touch to our stay.
The interior was thoughtfully arranged and comfortable, providing everything we needed for our holiday gathering. The property managers were exceptionally responsive, promptly addressing any questions we had throughout our stay.
For anyone seeking a comfortable coastal retreat with an ideal location, this house checks all the boxes. It successfully balances the practical amenities of home with the relaxing atmosphere you want in a vacation rental. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Cresent city
Overall it had everything one would need but towels were cheap and not enough for three days. The carpets were dirty and had a pre smell to them. Close to beaches and cedar trees that is why we came. Probably will shop for a different place next time

Very run down place
I won’t be staying here again. The smell was our biggest complaint, I’m guessing it was from them allowing pets to stay here but not sure?? I feel like my “cleaning fee” should be refunded because it was not clean when we arrived. The bathroom door doesn’t close right, the flooring and bath/kitchen fixtures are really outdated, and the walls/trim are in serious need of a paint job. The bed sheets and towels really need to be replaced as well. For the price this place really wasn’t worth it.
This was a great property with easy access to local beaches, parks and the Redwoods of Jedidiah. was perfect for my wife and our four kids. House was well equipped with everything we needed plus some extras in the fridge and spice cabinet. I would recommend this property.
Simple check in, check out, very comfortable place
We arrived after a long drive, and the place was pleasant after all. 5min to beaches, and 20min to redwood parks.
The gas BBQ stove was a big bonus and the house also had washer/dryer if you want to use.
We did not cook much at home those days but if someone would like to cook, the kitchen had most the basic ingredients for one who needs to prepare a dinner.
Also, if you have any question, it's very easy to communicate with the host.
Thank you for convenient place.
Everything was nice. The house itself was nicer than portrayed.
The house was nice but the cleanliness was a little sketchy. Toothpaste in one sink, shower wasn't clean. The owner responded immediately when contacted. They brought a new picnic table and let us know they would be there and what time. The kitchen was well stocked. Shampoo, soap and conditioner were supplied.
The dishwasher worked but had standing water in the bottom. Would rent again. Only 4 blocks to the ocean. Fenced back yard for pets.
Great location, easy access to everything......the beach, the pier, Coastal drive to Pebble beach and shopping. We were here for 4 nights 5 days and enjoyed it very much
Thank you
This duplex is in a very walkable neighborhood near the B St pier, bikepath, playground, and restaurants. Very quiet at night. Rooms are set up with two down a short hallway with twin size daybed and queen respectively, then a king in the master bedroom with attached bathroom. All the beds are spring mattresses and unfortunately very lumpy and squeeky. Hall bath is a very snug fit between the counter and door. The fenced backyard is simple and well maintained with a grill and old picnic table. A nice stay during the day with room for improvement. Could be better for the price.
Really great little place, and quite a bargain! Very well appointed and comfortable. So close to the beach you could hear the surf and sea lions. The little fenced back yard was perfect for our 2 little dogs, too. We would absolutely stay again!
