Quiet Time 9:00pm til 8:00am - All of our sweet neighbors live here full time and are retired.
Max of 10 people allowed at the property at Anytime.
No outside speakers - sound really travels in the cove.
Please do not trespass onto our neighbors properties. Stay on the sodded lawn and do not go past the fire pit or cross the lake or creek to our neighbors land.
Park ONLY on the driveway. Do not park on the street or off of the driveway at anytime.
No more than 5 cars allowed in driveway.
No parking off the street or in the grass.
If boating or jet skiing please note the entire cove is a no wake zone. Please be respectful. Only 1 docked boat allowed.
No smoking anything in the house or on the premises.
No Fireworks on the property EVER
No events, parties, gatherings of more than 10 guest total on property at ANYTIME.
No diving off the dock - its only 4-5ft deep off the dock.

We do monitor our ring outdoor cameras and have a noise monitor.
We do enforce our house rules and you will be asked to leave without refund if our house rules are not followed.

Occupant is obligated to abide by all of the requirements of the Putnam County ordinances, state and federal and such a violation of any of these rules in the immediate termination of the agreement and eviction from the premises, as well as potential liability for the payment of fines levied.

Very nice vacation home

Our family of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids) had a great time staying in this very nice vacation home overlooking a small, quiet cove. Plenty of room to spread out - kids had their own level with bunk room, bath, TV and entertainment room. Water in cove is very shallow, so be mindful of that if renting a boat. Owner responds very quickly to any questions.

Boating and volleyball

We had 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 6 older teenagers. Volleyball was their thing and there was plenty of room on the enormous and gorgeous back lawn. Dock held the boat perfect and the days were filled with tubing and lake fun. The house was perfect, well insulated and very cool for,these hot summer days. The space was huge, seating for everyone and lovely outdoor deck on each level. Take a few extra mixing and serving bowls if you plan to make meals and feed a crew. Also a few larger cereal bowls.

Wonderful vacation home!

We really enjoyed our stay! Home is located on the end of a cove off of the lake. We were able to sit on the porch and relax/read, play in the lake and in the yard and enjoy making a fire and smores while listening to nature each day. Will definitely stay here again!

Fabulous 50th birthday weekend

We absolutely loved staying at this property for my 50th birthday weekend. The house is beautiful, well-stocked with all your convenience's & the proximity to town was perfect. We rented a boat for the weekend & it was super easy with the dock on the property. The outdoor areas allowed us to enjoy the fire pit, the multiple decks & plenty of space for the dogs to have their fun. Jami is a fantastic host—super responsive & accommodating. We will most definitely visit again!

Wow!

Wow this property was absolutely perfect. I have stayed at plenty of properties since joining and renting from short term rental platforms and by this this place was easily the most bang for your buck. In my opinion it is way undervalued. What a beautiful place, fire pit at night, pool table, corn hole, kayaks I mean it had it all, you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent quiet Lake Oconee lake house

The home was perfect for our family. The home and dock are located at the end of a beautiful cove so zero boat traffic and the water depth at the dock is less than 5-feet so the grandkids could play all day without fear of being in deep water and of passing boats. Excellent quiet location and the home is even better than it shows in the pictures. Our family highly recommends this home and asked to rent it again next summer for the family to get together.

Amazing House

What a great house, property, and area. We stayed during a warmer week in January and really enjoyed all the house and yard had to offer. We booked Chef Brent, recommended by Jami, and enjoyed the two nights he prepared dinner for us. Overall one of the best VRBO properties any of us have booked. Thank you Jami!

Best experience I've had all year... Celebrated my birthday here with plenty of games and most important, with family and friends dearest to my heart...This space was more than enough and the comfort of the home was wonderful... Secondly, the fireplace provided an experience that I can not explain..The conversation, the laughter , and the love made this property over the top for my group.. A Wonderful, Relaxing Stay

We were a group of sorority sisters looking forward to a relaxing weekend at this amazing lake house. Our weekend was exactly that! Check in and out was easy using the code provided by the host. The lake house was spotless, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed right there and Publix was close by for extras. The host, Jami was very welcoming and attentive in her correspondence and was always quick to reply. We enjoyed the s’more goody basket that she left for us. Jami also took the time to mail me a scarf that was left behind. Do take time to read the information in the white notebook. We loved the dining recommendations for Pedro’s and Cafe 44. Mellow Mushroom Pizza was also a hit. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and the neighbors we encountered gave a friendly wave. Overall a great stay and we would definitely book again!

Family Vacation

Beautiful house! Everything you need to enjoy a family vacation is at this property. The kids were on the kayaks from sunrise to sunset. The beautiful dock allowed us to fish and rent a pontoon for the entire family to enjoy. From pots to pans, baking dishes, measuring cups, this house has everything you need! All the bathrooms are beautiful with shampoo, conditioner and soap. We truly enjoyed the property!

Great clean house!

Not your average family lake house. No old couches or musty rooms here. House was super clean and comfortable. Very well laid out and designed. Lots of stairs but each floor has a bathroom. Had friends and family over for a small birthday party, everyone kept commenting how nice the house was. Easy to find, close to Publix. Very close to the sugar creek boat ramp if you want to bring your own boat.

Fantastic Newroperty on Lake Oconee

We had a perfect weekend celebrating my son’s college graduation at this high end yet comfortable lake home. The home was well designed and equipped. The main level was open and with wonderful views over the large grass lawn leading down to the water, dock and fire pit. Down one level was another entertainment area with tall ceiling and w great views like the main level. The bunk room was really cool. The house really was perfectly equipped with necessities. We rent 2 to 3 times per year and this was the best equipped property with quality appointments we’ve stayed at. The beds were firm yet comfortable. Even the towels were plush. The deck and views were spectacular. Really, this was a very well laid out property with high end appointments… First Rate!!!!

The Best Haven!!

It was such a treat to spend 4 nights and 5 days in this beautiful oasis. My family and I spent our spring break here. The vibe in this house is amazing. It's warm and cozy. We had a a few outdoor activities planned but the weather wasn't friendly. However we made the best of it; and because this home was so inviting we weren't bothered by the weather. Actually we enjoyed watching the rain through the huge windows in the main living space and basment. ( What an amazing sight) The home was perfect, but the best part was the Jami and Will, they were welcoming and personable. We will definitely go back. Our trip was definitely an A+.

I grew up going to Lake Blackshear in South Georgia - some of my fondest childhood memories were made there. This is a dream come true to share our lake house with you and your family. My husband and I have 3 super active kids that love sports and being outdoors. We live super close and are often at the Lake.

Why they chose this property

This home is the perfect blend of cozy lake cabin and big lake house. I just love the huge covered porches. They are perfect for relaxing with a good book, listening to the birds sing, or a good conversation with your best friend. The kids love the big yard, swimming off the dock, taking the SUP boards out onto the lake. We love getting to go out on the kayaks this to fish in the cove. So fun to be on the boat for a day and get on the big water to explore or jump off jumping rock.

What makes this property unique

The quiet cove lets us all easily launch the SUP boards and kayak. As a mom with kids - my kids cannot get to far from the dock and the cove is safe - which gives me peace of mind.
