Perfect family cabin

The cabin was perfect for our family of 6. The cabin was very clean, built new to give a rustic look while having all modern finishes. The location was very close to downtown Gatlinburg, but located and tucked in the woods to feel like you were miles away from the business.

Nice location and cabin

Convenient location near Gatlinburg attractions, lovely cabin. We did get a small bear visitor right at the front door on our final day which was the highlight! Only feedback is master bed needs a new mattress.. very noisy each time someone moves. Other than that we loved it. Grocery is 1 mile away.

Spring break with the family

Took the family (M,D,6,5,3,1) on a spring break trip and booked this house for 4 nights. It was exactly as advertised. Clean and well kept. The views were great off the porch, plenty of little games and things for to keep the little ones occupied for the morning hustle to get ready and out the door. Plenty of bedroom space for everyone including setting up a pack and play crib. Nice and super easy drive into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. On our drive up to originally check in we came across a bear family out walking the neighborhood. This might make some say no way, we LOVED it! During our stay we saw one more bear a couple hundred feet from the driveway, AWESOME!

Torn

I want to start off with saying when we first got to this cabin we were in love with it. It was VERY clean and decorated beautifully! There were two issues with our stay. The first issue was that we could hear rodents running around in the ceiling and in the walls. This started around 9:00 when I was making sure all the doors were locked for the night. I contacted Vacasa about the issue and they said someone would contact me in "just a few minutes about the issue" and nobody did. The rodent ended up getting into the house from the laundry room and I was able to get it removed by chasing it out one of the doors. I took a picture of it in the house for proof of what we were experiencing during our stay. I was hopeful that was the last of that but it wasn't. Around 1:00 I could hear it running around again. I stuffed towels under the doors of the laundry room so that it was contained in that part of the house if it did get into the laundry room again. We decide to relocate to a different room for our next night. AGAIN, we were woken up by the sound of critters running around the walls in the house. Might I add we had a 11 month old baby with us for this stay, this is 100% unexpectable. Especially when we are bottle feeding our child and rodents are running around the inside of the house. Sunday morning we leave and I decided to call the number AGAIN that was sent to us via e-mail if we had any issues when we booked our stay. The person on the support call had no record of my first call about my issue. He took my information and asked for me to provide the picture of the rodent, I did via e-mail. He let me know someone would be reaching out to me soon. It's been over a week now and I still haven't heard a word . We picked this house because of the high ratings and great reviews it had. I wish our experience was 5 star but I'm sad to say it wasn't

Beautiful and peaceful

My family really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was lovely and very well appointed. I appreciated that there were lights in when we arrived (after midnight) and was delighted to find it decorated for Christmas. It was homey and felt good to go home to after a long day of exploring in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I have just a couple suggestions for the owners. 1. Kleenex would be a nice addition 2. The provided toilet paper could use an upgrade 3. The bedrooms could use floor length mirrors (I am 5 foot and couldn’t see to put my makeup on at all in the upstairs bathroom mirror) 4. The end of driveway could use a sign (I passed it up twice and was petrified when first turning my big SUV in the drive - felt like I was driving off the side of the mountain). I would rent this cabin again and recommend it to anyone who wants a beautiful, relaxing stay.

The Mountain Wolf Experience

My family had an unusual opportunity to spend time together in this truly spectacular setting. The cabin served as a relaxation hub for a series of outtings in the Gatlinburg area. In retrospect, we all agree the cabin was one of the best parts. It combined the ultimate in beauty, functionality, and comfort without being stiff or impersonal. Fully furnished, you can settle in for a short or long stay while having convenient access to your belongings in closets or bureaus. Several rooms for privacy, each with TV's and windows to see the wooded landscape. However the layout is quite open with a central large A -frame window exposing a gorgeous view of a mountainous treeline. Even while indoors you feel the freedom of the mountains. We as much enjoyed a home cooked meal there as we did the restaurant visits. Gatlinburg offers great recreation while this cabin rescues you from the crowds! Highly recommend a stay!!

Cozy

It was super cute and cozy. Not a lot to do in the cabin so it’s a great place to just go back and sleep. There wasn’t much extra pillows or towels. You’ll need to bring all your basic amenities for sure to shower wash dishes wipe anything down etc.. WATCH FOR THE BEARS. I have an almost 5 month old son and we had gotten back to the cabin about 3pm so still broad daylight and I had gotten him out of the vehicle and looked down for two seconds and heard a growl, looked up, and there was a mama bear and like 5 cubs standing not even car length from me. I had to run back into my vehicle and lock myself and my baby inside for about 10 minutes till they left so just be aware the bears are not scared of you and will scare the crap out of you! Other than that it was a wonderful place to stay. Close to downtown gatlinburg and door dash will deliver to the address of you get in late or don’t feel like driving down the skinny road to get food!

Charming Cabin on the Woods

The cabin and its neighborhood in the woods were great. We enjoyed nearby downtown and just relaxing at the cabin. We found that the information needed check in and out seemed to be in different email and text messages, so it was difficult to remember where all the information tidbits were. We had a few insect visitors, but nothing serious. We were comfortable and this cabin really helped us enjoy our get-away. Sitting on the side deck in the morning while enjoying a cup of coffee was peaceful. The Wi-Fi kept us connected and allowed us to stream a show or two. The nearby restaurants were terrific, and we even made some dinners at the cabin. We would definitely recommend this cabin to friends and family.

Quiet retreat in convenient location

Away from Gatlinburg traffic, but convenient to both Gatlinburg attractions and Dollywood. Do yourself a favor and ride the Gatlinburg trolley (free!) when venturing into Gatlinburg. We parked at the trolley center beside the town hall/police station.

Awesome Cabin!

The cabin is close to ameneties, yet far enough away to feel secluded. Wonderfully located where Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are equally accessible. The kitchen and bathrooms were adequately stocked. Overall, the cabin provided a wonderful experience for our family vacation. We spent hours at the game table playing uno!

Love this cabin!

Our second time staying, cozy, clean, perfect size for our family of 4 and close to everything! Plus, there are 2 ways to get to, 1 way is a steep, single lane road, second is a 2 lane, not to steep back way. I highly recommend this one, using Loop Rd. Way easier, no stress!
