We had a beautiful time at this little cabin. When we arrived, it was snowing, which made for a cozy and memorable experience for my family. The town was small, and the people were incredibly friendly. We will definitely be returning again! Be sure to read all the information and instructions about the cabin while booking—it really helped us make the most of our stay.
This is truly unfortunate that this place is even offered as option during the winter months due to its accessibility. The original listing alludes to steep terrain then the Vacasa listing states “impossible during winter months.” I have another property booked through VRBO that I am hoping for great results, but I expect compensation in credits or additional stays for posting this property during months that have winter weather. Attempting to access this rental would have been dangerous to me and my kid’s lives, and very disappointing experience for VRBO and Vacasa.

Overall Experience was very good
For the location and price we were pleased with our purchase. We enjoyed ourselves on the property. It was clean and everything worked. There is no firepit outside. I’m sure as a property owner they feel the liability is not worth the rub. But it turned cool last night we were there so it would have been nice to enjoy a fire. But overall we were very satisfied

Little paradise.
We loved everything about the cottage. Clean, comfortable, close to the little shops. We only have two dogs and it was so nice to have a chance to get away and have a place to welcome our dogs.Oh, I just can not say enough good things about this quiet wonderful piece of Heaven. Do not hesitate if you want to run away, grab it before someone else does. It might be us!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is close to all of the amenities but off the beaten path enough that it is so peaceful. The views are breath taking, only wish the trees in front of the large windows and living room were pruned enough for a more clear view. Tranquility Cabin will most definitely be seeing us again.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Nice location, needs some attention
Good points: location and comfortable bed. Main complaint was the smell; best description being wet dog. Really unpleasant. No amount of febreeze and candles could overcome it. Pretty sure it was in the furniture upholstery. Now all of our clothes and suitcases have the smell. ☹️. Also, lack of frypan had been noted by multiple previous guests and yet the owner seems not to care enough to spend $10 on one. Toaster barely works - again another cheap fix if owner cared. This place could be much nicer with some attention.
Had a wonderful 4 night stay at this property. Everything was clean, dishes and utensils were all there, and everything was comfy.

Will not book through Vacasa again.
The mattress is worn out, the fire place don't work there was no fire pit and the steps are dangerous and there is no big frying pan had to cook my husbands food first and then mine, and no instructions on how to get the T.V's to work. We are very disappointed in this stay.
The place is really nice and clean. It has beautiful views and is very relaxing. There are cows grazing on the mountain right beside the property. It is perfect for two people. The fireplace and A/C worked well. The WiFi does not work. There is a larger house and this place is an apartment/cabin over the detached garage. All trash cans are stored inside the garage for the house and cabin. Upon arriving the trash cans smelled very bad. I could smell them when I stepped outside my car and could also smell them inside the cabin. The contact number given to rental place is a 1-800 number and I'm assuming the person you're calling is in another state somewhere. I was told to wheel my trash cans to the road on Monday night and a trash service would pick them up. I was also told someone would come and wheel the remaining trash cans to the road. No one ever came and the trash was never picked up. Finally after two days I was contacted by a local rental person who came and took the trash away. She said never take the trash to the road. Two completely different answers to my same question. I spoke with them about the WiFi not working two times, but not one came to fix it. The WiFi is simply a repeater from the larger house. My AT&T cell service was great, so I didn't need it anyway. There is not firepit, but there are chairs and a washer/dryer inside the garage. Overall, it's a very nice place and worth the money. The trash issues definitely needs to be addressed.
