This house was great for us to celebrate a 30th birthday with a ski trip. Super close to both the mountains and SLC, house was beautiful and accommodated all 11 of us comfortably. Susy was very easy to contact. Would definitely recommend staying here!
This was a ski vacation for my extended family. The house was great and easily accommodated our group of 10 comfortably. We loved the hot tub and sauna. Owners very responsive.
The house is perfectly located between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons making for easy access to skiing at Alta, Snowbird, Solitude and Brighton.Communication and check-in process was seamless with the owner. The house was well-equipped with a sauna and hot tub for apres ski! Also, plenty of sheets, towels and pillows!Excellent space for our family of nine. The only negatives would be that the house was not squeaky clean - there was popcorn under the couch and lots of dust bunnies in the corners. Also, the placement of the washer/dryer in the kitchen was a bit cumbersome; and the venting seemed inadequate since the whole house steamed up when we ran the dryer.Otherwise, we were perfectly happy with our stay and would come back!
The house was perfect for what we needed. The colors and decor of the home made it feel cozy and inviting. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. The only negative thing I have to say is that we arrived on Wednesday evening to a full trash can so our trash was overflowing outside during our stay. However, everything else was perfect! Would definitely stay again!!
This property was perfect for our 3day family Christmas gathering. The space was good particularly the large dining room table. Upstairs kitchen was tight with limited counter space but we made use of the basement kitchen as well to accommodate meal preparation, baking cookies and oven for our large group. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. House was very clean. Nice neighborhood. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.
We had a great stay at the Sandy Sunset Retreat! :D We were able to cook meals at the house and enjoy all that the space had to offer, including the jacuzzi and sauna after our days of hiking. Susy was very responsive to questions that I had during the trip and it was overall a very easy and fun experience.
This property provided plenty of space. There is a lower level that is essentially another apartment. We kept the kids down there and the adults stayed upstairs. We did all meals together upstairs or on the deck. Morning coffee and evening wine on the deck gives view of beautiful mountain tops! Host was extremely easy to communicate with and offered to help with anything we needed!
Wonderful modern home close to Little Cottonwood Canyon
The home was very spacious and comfortable for 8 adults. Large kitchen and common areas. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the sauna. Convenient access to ski resorts in Little Cottonwood canyon. Would definitely stay here again!

About the host
Hosted by Susy Clyde
Hi my name is Susy. I live in the beautiful state of Utah. If I could live anywhere in the world I would still choose Utah. My family and I love to ski, hike, and spend time outdoors. Our home is within an hour to a handful of world class ski resorts and a few hours from multiple national parks like Arches, Canyonland, Zion, and Bryce Canyon. My favorite food is sushi and I can't get enough of chocolate twizzlers. Thanks for stopping by!
