On the south-west coast of the island, in the midst of a beautiful landscape of ancient, dense olive groves, approx. 5 km south of the charming village of Aghios Mattaios, lies the idyllic village of Prassoudi directly by the sea.
The free standing, two-storey holiday home is located directly above the sea, on winding paths, between wildly romantic olive groves and a fine sandy bay in the idyllic district of Prassoudi. It consists of two holiday flats - Maria on the ground floor and Giokos on the upper floor, each with its own entrance. A large, well-kept Mediterranean garden with lawn, numerous flowers and plants surrounds the holiday home. Both flats have a section of garden to the side for their own use. The children's playground at the front of the garden is shared by both flats.
The ground-floor flat Maria is cosy, spacious and bright. The living room with an open-plan kitchen area is connected via a corridor to three bedrooms with a shared bathroom and guest WC. The living room and two bedrooms open out onto the covered terrace at the front, which faces the sea and offers unforgettable sunset experiences. From the third bedroom you have a wonderful side garden view.
Directly from the garden, a staircase leads to the fine sandy Prassoudi Bay after approx. 150 metres. A taverna right by the sea and sun loungers on the beach complete the picture of this holiday home.
A perfect location for those seeking peace and quiet, who want to spend their holiday away from the tourist crowds, as well as for families with children who want to enjoy their holiday together close to the sea.

Unser Buchungskontakt Jan von JASSU! war sehr freundlich und reagierte schnell auf unsere Fragen und Wünsche. Informationen über das Haus und die Lage waren sehr genau und hilfreich. Wir hatten keine Probleme, es zu finden, nachdem wir in Korfu angekommen waren. Unser lokaler Gastgeber begrüßte uns zur vereinbarten Zeit und wir betraten das Haus gemeinsam, wo er die Regeln erklärte und uns alles zeigte. In der Küche fehlt etwas Inventur (wie Geschirrspülmittel, Salz & Pfeffer, Speiseöl), aber es gibt genügend Teller, Besteck & Gläser. Das Interieur ist etwas kleiner als erwartet. Ich denke, die maximale Belegung sollte 6 Personen betragen, sonst könnte es überfüllt sein. Die Umgebung sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern; sehr schön und privat. Im Garten gibt es einen kleinen Spielplatz mit vielen Spielsachen für kleine Kinder, der gut gepflegt ist. Der lokale Strand ist in der Nähe; ~7 Gehminuten entfernt. Es gibt eine Taverne mit guter Abwechslung und Preisen direkt über dem Strand. Wir haben nach 4 Tagen neue Handtücher und Bettwäsche bekommen. Großartiger Ort für Familien!

The local beach is not the greatest on the island, but you can watch the sun set while dining at the nearby restaurant and take a walk through nearby stands of olive trees that are hundreds of years old. We slept with the doors open to feel the ocean breeze, which thankfully had screens to keep bugs out. Highly recommended!

Wunderschönes ruhiges Haus. Sehr grosse Wohnung. Der Garten ist gross und sehr grün, verschiedene Tische, Bänke, Liegen ,usw. Der Strand ist wirklich sehr nah, 2 Minuten zu Fuss; aber auch nicht zu nah, so dass man ruhig liegt. 2 Minuten zu Fuss steht auch eine sehr gute und freundliche Taverna. Der Strand ist nie zu voll, feiner Sand und Felsen im Meer, die Kinder klettern gerne. Klares Wasser mit vielen bunten Fischen. Der Südteil der Insel ist noch wild und nicht zu voll. Wandermöglichkeiten direkt vom Haus. Sehr gute Fleischerei und Supermarkt in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto (Agios Mathaeos). Das Haus eignet sich besonders für 2 befreundete Familien, die dann beide Wohnungen mieten. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Perfekt, wir hatten 2 herrliche Wochen und empfehlen das Haus weiter!!

Our stay at Giokos Maria was very good and we enjoyed every day. The photos of the house are accurate and the garden is fantastic, giving a really relaxing touch to the whole vacation experience. We were there with our 1 year old child and the agency provided us with a child's bed and high chair. It was really nice to be there. Pay attention to mosquitos though, you will need something against them, as the owners can't provide no amenities, because of covid regulations. The beach is beautiful and isolated. The sand is fine and white. I have to add though, that the beach is not as near as it seems, since from the photos it seems like it's "next door", but in fact you have to walk a little bit. But it's really 5 minutes, so it's no big deal! We recommend this property and probably will be back!

Außerdem ist der Eigentümer sehr bemüht und fragt nahezu täglich nach, ob man was braucht bzw. ob eh alles i.O. ist.

We spent nice holidays here. We were 2 families with kids. Prasoudi Beach is near by walk even for children. A car is necessary as the market is about 10 km away. Kids played a lot in the big garden. We used a grill for grilling fish. The owners were very friendly.

Herzlichen Dank an den Gastgeber und seine Familie für den schönen Aufenthalt. Der liebevoll gepflegte Garten inklusive der Terrasse lassen bei der Ankunft sofort Urlaubsfeeling aufkommen. Die Nähe zum Strand und die zentrale Lage für Ausflüge jeder Art sind ein Pluspunkt. Für Ausflugstipps und Information der Gastgeber waren wir sehr dankbar. Es war ein toller Familienurlaub! Very happy with our stay. Huge house over two floors with 2 separate entries. Very organised with all necessary amenities, washing machine, cooker, air conditioner. Big garden with BBQ area, 3 separate seating areas. Swings and toys for kids. Sea side is 50 meters away from the house. Area is very quite and nice. Fresh towels and bed linens have been changed twice during our stay. Very friendly and polite owner, who came personally to see if we require anything. All over it was a perfect family holiday.
