This was the perfect cabin for our family getaway. The cabin was a little secluded so neighbors werent right on top of us. The location was perfect as it was close to babyland and Helen. It was also located only an hour an a half from Atlanta as well. The cabin was extremly clean and comfy. Would defenitly recommend if you are looking for a quiet getaway!
We loved our stay! Such a cozy little cabin tucked away, right in the middle of great hiking spots and towns nearby with plenty to do. We went towards the end of fall, and it was beautiful with all of the leaves! With the bunk beds, I wouldn't recommend any youth on the top bunk- the rail barely comes above the mattress. But for an adult it was just fine. There is a strict 2 car limit, which for most families would be no problem, but for our group of 3 moms it did require carpooling. All in all a great spot and we would stay there again!
I first want to begin on a positive note. The ease of check in was good. The house was nice and clean. The neighborhood was quiet. Probably the view would have been better at a different time.
The outside needed some serious attention. Rotten boards on the deck, steps and more importantly the handicap ramp. Fortunately we did not have to use that. We didn’t particularly like the ring camera, because we felt like it was an invasive of our privacy. It was not mentioned in the contract.
I’m sure after a little replacement of rotten boards. It would be fine.
Had a great stay at this cabin conveniently located to the wineries. Very clean inside and out. Great screened in back porch!

Wedding Goers BEWARE!!!
If you are staying at this property for your wedding weekend, please rethink it. This man will ruin your wedding weekend. He repeatedly called to remind us about his ridiculous list of house rules and checkout instructions. If you want to relax for the weekend , this is NOT the place to go! I have stayed at multiple vrbo/rental properties and have never had an experience like this one. I would never recommend anyone to stay at any of his multiple properties in North GA.
This little cabin in the woods is a great place to stay. It is very clean with all the necessities and perfect for two couples!!! It is in a quiet neighborhood centrally located between Dahlonega and Helen near several wineries and breweries!! We were able to experience the Dahlonega Christmas and Helen’s German village all in one trip!!
The property managers were friendly and accommodating! It is a perfect little place for a quiet peaceful stay!
Clean and cozy with a perfect mountain location. Responsive hosts that make it easy to checkin and out. New cabin with modern conveniences and mountain cabin charm.
This cabin is beautiful, peaceful, and very clean. The cabin is near several wineries, Helen, GA, and is also close enough to Amicalola Falls and Springer Mountain if you are interested in hiking part of the Appalachian Trail.
We had many things planned outside of the cabin, but the property is gorgeous with several fire pits and seating places outdoors. We could have spent the entire time at the cabin and been very pleased.
I'm from Florida and I'm not a fan of "mountain" roads, but I am happy to say the road up to the cabin, although narrow in some places, was easy to navigate and did not have any sharp drops.
We had a couple questions while staying at the cabin and the host was very responsive and helpful during our stay.
I would definitely stay in this cabin again.
A family trip just perfect, we loved the stay, seclude but near of Helen. You can stay seclude and search for activity at the same time. The outdoor beautiful!!
My husband and I rent this cabin for our 28th anniversary and truly enjoyed the entire experience. The cabin was lovely and so peaceful. It is at the end of the road and feels like you have the world to yourself. We enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard and had a spirited game of cornhole with the game provided by the host/hostess. The kitchen has all the pots/pans, glasses, plates and flatware needed. They also have multiple spices available. If/when we are in the area again we will definitely see if they have this cabin or another available. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We are a Family with a passion for exploring. We visited N. Georgia so often, that we decided to buy a 2nd home here. We are happy to share it with you.
We own several 5-star cabins in the area, and love offering them to new guests.
Why they chose this property
Our cabin, The Wine Retreat, is so conveniently located to over a dozen N. Georgia wineries. We found ourselves visiting the area 1-2 times a month, and decided we needed to make the move! You're able to explore and enjoy the wineries in a simple day trip and come back home to a beautiful cabin to continue the fun. In addition, you're in the midst of great food, hiking, fishing, water tubing and more.
This is our 2nd home, so we keep it up like as if we were staying there. We have a high standard of quality and we truly hope our guests appreciate it as well. We trust our guests will take care of our 2nd home, like their own.
What makes this property unique
While the Cleveland/Dahlonega area isn't as mountainous as Blue Ridge or Cherokee, NC, for example, it's only 1.5 hours from Atlanta in lieu of 3+ hours. This amazing proximity to Metro ATL makes it for a great quick getaway.
You still get beautiful mountain views and all the outdoor activities that N. Georgia has to offer. We believe that these unique benefits are why this area has blown up with visitors over the past several years.
