We had a great weekend stay at Jason’s place for the hockey games at Wrigley. Great location and really cool place to stay. No issues with check in/out and had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely stay here again for a summer trip to catch the Cubs.
Listing and photos accurate! This is a great find. Host Jason was timely, helpful and kind in all communication. Jason gives you info you need, is there if you need anything, but doesn’t bug you. Decor was cool. Great use of space & antiques. Fun to look at the music/vinyl, guitars, art, antiques… then you’ll “spot” another fish or nautical thing— makes you smile. SO great to have the off street parking right behind the building. That is rare in the area. Also nice to have outside space/deck. Host sends very detailed instructions for getting to building, parking, & into unit. It might look complicated when you receive, but it isn’t. you’ll be glad to have that when you arrive so pay attention! I don’t normally like to stay in rentals that the host actually “lives” in— (personal stuff around, food in fridge etc) — but this place doesn’t feel like that. You know it.. but you don’t “feel” it. It feels like it is there for you. I am also notba big fan of rentals that have long list of things you have to do before you leave… (and you are trying to get out on time)! Not here. Jason gets A++ for this. You are a paying guest— you don’t have to do chores. Just common reminders (ie close windows). Jason was a great host and you really can’t go wrong with this place. If you want to be in the great Lakeview neighborhood and go to Wrigley field for Cubs or concerts, look no further (unless I want to book same dates.. then keep looking😊). Thank you Jason.
We stayed for two nights seeing Pearl Jam at Wrigley. check in was very clear and easy. Apartment was nicely furnished, bed was really comfortable, vinyl records to listen to was fantastic!. we walked to Wrigley in less than 10min. very safe area and lots of food and drink options easily walkable. Also great proximity to Belmont/Southport/Addison train stops all walkable with luggage no problem. Jason was helpful and communicated well! Don't hesitate to rent from him. Would stay again.
I was dropping my son off for college. Needed a place for me to park a car and be relatively close to his campus. Perfect fit. Very Chicago experience and what a wonderfully decorated apartment. Charming.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming apartment on Roscoe Street, and it was an absolute delight! The location was unbeatable, with easy access to Wrigley Field, Boystown, and the Lake. The Market Days street fest was right around the corner, making it incredibly convenient to explore and enjoy all that Chicago has to offer.
The apartment itself was like stepping into another world. The beautiful antique maps and other unique decor made it feel like a museum. Although I wasn't sure what to expect initially, I quickly fell in love with the space. It was a wonderful retreat after a day of exploring the city.
The rooms got plenty dark for a restful night's sleep, and the check-out process was a breeze.
I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and centrally located place to stay in Lakeview!
Highlights:
* Prime location: Close to Wrigley Field, Boystown, Lake, and Market Days
* Unique and charming decor: Feels like a museum
* Comfortable and quiet: Perfect for a good night's sleep despite being close to the action
* Easy check-out process: Hassle-free departure
Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family!
Perfect little get away for a cubbies game! We had a little difficulty figuring which apartment was ours when we got in the building (my phone wasn’t getting service) but we eventually got it and everything was perfect! We thought being so close to the train would be terrible but it surprisingly wasn’t too bad! Lots of honking at night and can hear people out the window, but that’s no fault of the host, Jason. Would definitely stay here again if we were to go to another cubs game!!
I brought my husband to Chicago for his birthday to enjoy seeing the Cubs play. This apartment was the perfect place! Just a short walk to Wrigley Field and so many dining options! So much was within walking distance. We even walked to the train station and took poop “L” into the city to tour the Chicago River and the many museums.
The apartment was perfect for us. Probably why we chose it, because of the vintage style and antique decor. Jason was in contact with us on day 1 to make sure we had everything. He also checked in with us a few days later to see if we needed anything.
We will definitely pick this place again if ever back in Chicago. It is on our list as a favorite.
This place was very cool. It felt homey, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit.
I didn't plan on traveling by myself, but it worked out that way. So I reached out to the host a couple of times, and his responses were prompt and helpful.
I told friends I was staying at VRBO that doubled as a museum. It has some very neat artwork, keepsakes, and really set up to entertain. The apartment design is as pictured but was super cool to look up-close at the art.
The bed was very comfortable, did not want to get out of bed. And there were thoughtful touches that made me feel welcome. I didn't cook while I was there, but the kitchen was ready for anything. In fact, it seemed this kitchen was the most equipped kitchen I've seen in a VRBO.
The couch was large and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
Checking out was very simple. Usually, VRBO check outs make you feel like you have a list of chores. This was simple and easy. Made packing up a breeze.
Not to mention, I left something on the property, and the host is mailing it to me -- now that is service!
Wrigleyville never disappoints and this property made it even better. Perfect location, close to multiple El stops, restaurants, Target, and Wrigley Field. Host was excellent, did a great job of communicating with us before we got there and after we checked-out. Unfortunately, our plans changed due to things out of our control and Jason was very accommodating. Property is very homey, beautiful, well kept, and the decor was really cool. Would highly recommend this property to a couple or family looking for a Chicago get-a-way. For our next Chicago trip, this property will be our first choice.
Jason was a great host, very informative and responded to texts quickly. Very accommodating for check in times as well. The space was awesome, in a great location and looked just like it does in the pictures. Went down for a Cubs game and couldn’t be happier!
Love the place and decor. The church pew booth was really neat. Really easy to get to the baseball game and L. Easy to walk to lots of places to eat. Would definitely stay again.
A perfect place to stay in Chicago! Very close to Wrigley and a ton of restaurants to choose from. Also excellent communication by host, and a nice, comfortable place. I will definitely be looking for its availability next time I am in Chicago.
We recently stayed at Jason's listing for the P!NK show at Wrigley Field. Not only was the apartment less than 10 minutes from the stadium, it was in the heart of everything. The checking in process was extremely simple. The apartment was immaculate and had everything you could need. Jason was very attentive and responded to any questions I had quickly. I would seriously recommend this rental for anyone attending a Cubs game or simply visiting Chicago.
Jason was so helpful and accommodating! Construction made parking a bit tricky but he warned us ahead of time, had other parking options and called us to talk through getting in. We were impressed before we even entered! Inside was clean and had everything we needed. Jason’s organization was top notch. We took advantage of his local food recommendations and were not disappointed! The location was perfect walking distance to Wrigley. Highly recommend!
We had a great stay for the weekend! Apartment is in a great neighborhood, felt safe, close to all the restaurants and night life in Wrigleyville! Approximately a 10 minute walk to Wrigley Field. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Very comfortable. Communication with owner was great. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again on our next trip!
Jason made us feel right at home. He had a bottle of wine waiting for us and a couple glasses. Very clean and short walk to Wrigley. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thanks!
We (myself, wife and 2 daughters) came for the Wallen concert at Wrigley. Perfect location…about a 5 min walk. Place was clean and had everything we needed and then some. The vinyl record player was a nice throwback. Would definitely stay again for any trips downtown. Owner had 3 different parking options depending on what you wanted or what was available (stickers for the street, spot in back, or a spot about a half block away). Overall was a great stay.
Jason has everything on point. With very detailed instructions check in was smooth, the place is immaculate. The location was perfect for us to walk to Wrigley field for the concert. I will definitely be bringing booking again.
We had a great stay at Jason's apartment! The location is a great jumping off point for exploring Wrigleyville by foot or hopping on the redline to get downtown. Being able to leave the car parked off-street at the apartment all weekend while we got around by walking/CTA was a huge plus. The apartment itself was well maintained and had all amenities needed and more. Thanks Jason for hosting us!

About the host

This is my apartment. I manage it myself. I’m on the move a lot so I decided to give this a shot. Please make yourself at home and enjoy one of Chicago’s best and safest neighborhoods.
Why they chose this property
In the heart of Wrigleyville. Countless restaurants and nightlife right downstairs in the neighborhood, including The Vic and the Metro music venues. The Riviera and the Aragon Ballroom are a 5 minute cab ride.
What makes this property unique
There are vinyl records, a turntable, an old Rhodes piano, guitars, and a ukulele. If you know how to use these things, you are welcome to enjoy them. If you have ANY questions, I am more than happy to walk you through how they work. Please ask BEFORE you find out you don't know how they work. THANKS!
