Rustic cabin provides a peaceful place for writing and book reading, pond fishing or napping. The small town of Jacksboro is a short drive (quick 5 min.) and Fort Richardson State Park is approximately 2 miles. The State Park has a 10 mile trail around Lake Jacksboro which is a favorite for cyclists, hikers, and kayakers alike.
The cabin is located on a working ranch property and does have a gated private entrance. The cabin is located approximately 300 yards off a major highway. Guests must have reservations to enter.
The Cabin is a 24-7-365 Non-Smoking property. House rules prevail. Important to also note: Often a county-wide burn ban is in effect. When the County burn ban is in effect, campfires, outdoor cooking, and other potential fire hazards are prohibited.
