We had an overall great stay. The location and setting were wonderful. The house was clean, and the check-in process was great. We did have a small issue with the water to the house. It would work for a while and then stop working for a while. It didn't cause any major issues just a little bit inconvenient at times. We spoke to the host, but I don't think there was much they could do to resolve it over the weekend. Overall great stay.
This property is awesome. My family had the best time visiting and hanging out. The kids enjoyed the lake swimming and playing. I definitely recommend this place to everyone, especially if your kids are like mine and love to be in the water.
Very peaceful and beautiful location. The lake was wonderful, and we enjoyed the kayaks. There were lots of birds, even a piliated woodpecker. There is plenty of space.
Beautiful and peaceful house to laze the day away. Huge covered porch, the songs of nature, and a lake that is truly like a mirror. We would love to stay again.
This was the perfect place to get away from everything. No distractions just able to enjoy my family. Make sure to bring your fishing poles and if you don't catch anything you are doing something wrong because there are a lot of fish in the lake. Inside the house was all the conveniences you would expect and it is updated and clean. there is a large deck to enjoy during the day but it belongs to the bugs after dark. There were only four of us but this house can accommodate a lot more. We all really enjoyed this vacation and would recommend the house to anyone.
Such a peaceful and relaxing weekend! Hosts were welcoming and available. Home was super clean. The seating inside the home and on the spacious deck overlooking the lake provided perfect views and could accommodate a very large group. Comfy beds, great coffee/wine bar, and everything you need in the oversized kitchen. The kayaks and canoes were an added bonus. Such a nice combination of time to relax and take in the views, as well as activities to enjoy the lake!
We brought my parents who are aging and having a tough time to relax with their grandson, his wife and great grandsons. I was raised a country girl and fishing with my dad as soon as i could sit up. This place was so relaxing and we had time to enjoy being together. I just wish it would have had some fishing poles or rods to enjoy that beautiful pond. It not a lake , it is a pond but it was extremely nice being able to enjoy the view on the huge porch!!! The wind coming in off the water was refreshing, the kayaking was fun for the ones who were young enough. We truly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it.
Mirror Lake Retreat rests at the end of a quarter-mile long drive through pines and has a wall of glass overlooking the 11-acre private lake. The open floor plan's huge kitchen will support a large gathering. The host has kayaks and flat-bottomed boats available. This home's deck is huge with many chairs, dining table and a charcoal grill. Bounded by National Forest on one side and highway on two others, the property is secluded and peaceful. Road noise was occasionally noticeable when outside, and while not bothersome, it's not quite like being in the middle of nowhere. It was a treat to watch the bats feeding over the lake and a couple deer around it each evening. The host was a pleasure to meet and very quick to respond (15 mins) when we had an issue with a lock. By luck, we were this property's first guests (2 grandparents, daughter, 9 yr. old grandson) and almost everything in the home was brand new. It was a wonderful experience we recommend.
