Four bedrooms and three bathrooms, large yard with fire pit, stunning views, decks and huge family room make this a perfect getaway for adults or families. Close to many recreational activities, parks, beaches, golf courses and lakes in the area make this a wonderful destination to explore the Northern Oregon Coast. The deck comes with grill for enjoying the spectacular sunsets along with outdoor dining in summer. There is so much to explore and see. We recommend researching parks in the area along with trails for hiking, biking or walking the beach. Golfers will enjoy the courses nearby and bird watchers will find many varieties of birds to enjoy in the wetlands and woods. Astoria has a rich maritime history and the museums are full of interesting memorabilia. Enjoy sunsets that are breathtaking. Fenced yard with fire pit make for cozy evenings around the fire. Huge family room for kids. Nice open floor plan and lots of natural light make this the perfect space for cooking and relaxing with family.

This is a wonderful house in a great location in Astoria, and the owners are very responsive and kind. Having two floors with two comfortable living areas in addition to the 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths provided plenty of space for all four of us. The house is fully furnished with an excellent selection of cookware and dishware. The views and outside deck are fabulous. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future!
Great rental! The spacious house is in an excellent location with a fabulous view of the Columbia River and in a quiet neighborhood. It is well-furnished and comfortable, and the owner Gina was very responsive to the few questions/inquiries we had. We especially enjoyed the friendly local deer who came to rest in the back yard on many days. We feel very fortunate to have found this lovely rental for our team during our one-month project out of Astoria.
This is the most beautifully appointed, gorgeous property on the western slope of Young's Point, overlooking the bridge to Warrenton and Seaside. Location is absolutely central to ANYTHING you want to do in historic Astoria and on the Coast. We seldom left the house, enjoying the cool breezes, the nightly visits of dear and calls of the birds. We wallowed in the comfort and warmth of this home. We are octogenarians and the floorplan on the main floor met our needs and expectations perfectly. We look forward to other summers out of the extreme heat of the desert at the BayView House.
The Astoria House was absolutely terrific. The home is exactly as described in the listing and was perfect for my family. The downstairs has two bedrooms, its own bathroom, a separate family/living room and a large screen television which the kids loved having all to themselves.
The kitchen was extremely well stocked, particularly with a wide variety of spices which was very appreciated. The master bedroom was huge and very comfortable, and the other upstairs bedroom was nicely situated next to the bathroom.
The rental owners also provide weekly housecleaning which was very appreciated.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars to the location was because the house is located on the south slope. The view is of Young’s Bay, not the Colombia River. The north slope has the view of the Columbia River and all the ships. Unfortunately, because of the house’s location, you have to drive to get anywhere in town. The house is not close to downtown and it is definitely not walkable. The only downside to a beautiful month’s stay in Astoria.
Gina has been an amazing host to us, there was someone who came weekly to clean the house on Wednesday and Gina was always respectful and would make us aware Incase I’d theres any change in the date of when the cleaner is coming. the location is amazing with beautiful views, and the house is very spacious and welcome. Will definitely be renting out this property again in the future.
Great place in a convenient area for our month long stay at a reasonable rate.
Great place for an extended stay. Lots of room so everyone has their own space including 2 common areas and 2 porches. Plenty of amenities to make us feel welcome and at home.
