From the expansive balconies, offering panoramic views of both the river and the canal, to the large lanai with its heated pool, outdoor kitchen, grill, and ample seating for lounging under the sun or stars. Watch the fish dance in the water and the breathtaking sunrise and sunset in this peaceful oasis. Conveniently located within walking distance to a park with a boat ramp, it's the ideal haven for those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation. Just a short drive to Sanibel and Captiva Islands, and Fort Myers Beach, embark on endless adventures along the South West Florida waters. Bring your own boat or arrange for a rental to be delivered to our private pier. The boat ride from our dock to the river is just 2 min!

Area attractions: Must see attractions include the Sun Splash Water Park located 10 minutes from our home. More than 2 dozen wet and dry attractions include tube ride, waterslides, lazy river, Cape Fear and more. Golf courses abound. The fishing is great whether you choose Captiva Island, Naples, Pine Island or Fort Myers to begin your expedition.Tarpon, snook, redfish, grouper and others are abundant. There are many islands to explore either on your own or on one of the many tours available. The Yacht Club is owned by the City of Cape Coral and offers a fishing pier, swimming, tennis, a snack bar and full service marina. It is 10 minutes from the house. Sanibel and Captiva have beautiful white sandy beaches accessible by car or boat. Don't miss the bird sanctuaries, the lighthouse and the amazing shelling available. There are over 35 golf courses within 30 miles.

Other activities: Don't miss the Fort Myers Flea Market which is open on the weekends, and the outlets open all week in Fort Myers. There are many fabulous restaurants in and around Cape Coral. Not far from Fort Myers River District. Go to Fort Myers Beach for great food right on the beach or explore the nightlife at the restaurant/bars downtown. You can drive out to Captiva Island which is very quaint and fun to walk or bike around. Fort Myers Beach has a ferry to Key West. It is a 3 1/2 hour boat ride and you can spend the day or stay overnight-nice trip-interesting place.

Boat rentals: Boat rentals are available for daily, weekly and longer. Boats can be reserved in advance and delivered to our dock., or bring your own boat which can be put in at Horton Park which is at the end of our street, and driven the short distance to our dock.

Amazing vacation

We desperately needed a vacation and Cape Serenity added so much to our experience. The pictures are exactly what you get and April is such a pleasure to work with if you have any questions or concerns. The front lock system is a breeze and I personally loved not having to worry about house keys. Its easy enough to use my parents could do it!The home is so clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. We have stayed at plenty locations that are nice but the beds werent that great. Not the case here at all. And the home is at a comfortable temperature, it was 90 degrees the whole week we stayed and we stayed cool inside if needed.Our favorite spot though hands down was the pool and lanai area. Our kids pretty much lived in the pool. And drinks and eating in the shaded area was immaculate. Plus a huge TV out there with a fridge to store the drinks. I could of lived out there!We had a boat pick us up from the dock one day and drove out to Cayo Costa which was a lovely ride. And so convenient to be picked up at home and not have to drive home after a long day in the sun out boating.I could go on but will stop here. I will say for reference we had three adults on the main level. Then myself, husband and kids all upstairs and it was plenty of comfortable space. Okay, I'll stop for real this time but this place is worth every penny. Thank you April and John!

Relaxing Stay in a Great Location!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. April was very responsive to all requests and inquires before and throughout our stay. The house was well maintained and perfect for our stay. As advertised, the only way upstairs is via the spiral staircase which can be tricky with large bags - just plan accordingly.

Excellent House and Host

We loved our stay in April’s place and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. It is spacious, sparkling clean, well equipped and the outside space is delightful. We were a family of 6 adults and an infant and there was ample room for family time and private time. April was fantastic to work with. Very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in Cape Coral

Spacious home in a great location.

Cape Serenity was perfect for our family of 6 Adults. The home is definitely set up for outdoor living with the pool and lounge area. It was a tranquil setting in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well equipped with what we needed. The home was clean and very comfortable. If our travel plans bring us back to the Cape, we would enjoy booking this home again.

Beautiful house with everything you could wish for, the owner April was Great to work with Awesome communication. The dock for the boats was very well maintained and nothing better than coming back after a long hot day on the boat and heading straight in the pool. Definitely recommend this property.

Best vacation home for our family of 7!

From the second we pulled up to the house we knew this would be our forever vacation home moving forward! Absolutely stunning views from the front and back balconies. The view of the canal from the patio area is so beautiful. We were able to rent a boat and dock it right outside the home which was so convenient. Fully furnished in every room makes it feel like you are right at home. So beautiful and can’t wait to return! Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with our family ☀️🌴❤️

It was a 10/10. The house and property was gorgeous. Everything was so clean and so nice. We all had a wonderful time staying in this house. The decor and all the designs really elevated the feeling of the home. We all made winderful memories that we will remember for a lifetime.

Perfect Family Vacation

We had an excellent family vacation and the main reason was the house we stayed in. Perfect house for all of us to enjoy each others company. Big enough for us all to be together and even to have quiet time away from each other. The lanai is perfect for swimming, sunning and playing cards. The hosts are so friendly and inviting. Just a perfect place for our perfect vacation. Looking forward to coming back. Thank you so much!!

Amazing Pool and Lanai

Our party of 7 (6 adults + 1 tween) loved our stay at April’s place. The heated pool and lanai area was spacious and we spent most of our time outside. Part of the lanai is covered which was nice for our one rainy day. We also enjoyed hanging out in the open concept kitchen, dining and living rooms with plenty of seating. April was super responsive to all of our questions. Overall a great stay!

Great stay for baseball trip

We had a great time staying at this home! Our son had a baseball tournament in Ft Myers, so this was a great central point for us to travel back and forth from fields to house. There was four of us total (2 adults and 2 teenage boys) plus 2 Frenchies! The beds were comfortable, the house cooled easily, and the kitchen appliances were very handy during our visit. We hung out as a family in the living room the most, watching Netflix and playing cards at the kitchen table. I would recommend this home to anyone with kids and it was very pet friendly as well!

Beautiful

My family truly enjoyed ourselves at Cape Serenity. The views were beautiful from the back of the home as well as, the upstairs view of the Bay area. The home is beautifully decorated and neat. We loved having the pool right out of the back door with plenty of privacy. April was very responsive with questions. If we are ever back in Cape Coral, we would love to stay here again. If you book this vacation home, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect Family Getaway

My family and I spent three weeks at Cape Serenity and didn’t want to leave. The house is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed spending most of our time in the lanai! April is a wonderful host always quick to respond to any questions that you might have. Would definitely love to stay here again in the future

Perfect Getaway

Coastal heaven is accurate for this home! The home is large enough so everyone had their own space including the AMAZING lanai and porches. The view from being at the end of the canal is beautiful. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds and linens were so comfortable. The pool was swam in EVERY day - even when we had the one day of cool temps. The dolphins by the dock on Saturday evening were a totally cool experience for all of us! Fishing occurred every day - unfortunately - nothing was caught to eat - but the sting ray and crabs were cool to catch! Amy, the owner, was very responsive and checked in a couple times. Would stay here again in a heart beat!

Family friendly, beautiful home that has everything you could ask for!

Our family of 4 stayed here with my some extended family and let me just tell you not only was the home beautiful and spacious but it had everything you could ask for! The kitchen was probably better stocked than my own and the owner April was wonderful and very responsive! We have younger children and it was nice to be supplied with everything they needed without having the hassel of dragging it along with us! We felt so welcome!

Our dream was to purchase a second home that we could escape the cold weather, in the winter months of Maryland, so we could boat year round. We looked all over the east coast and Florida before we settled on this home in Cape Coral, it was absolutely perfect for us! Having 4 children and busy careers meant that we can't come for long periods of time, so we decided to share our dream home with others who want to vacation. This is our first vacation rental home but we are loving the experience. We hope you love our house as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We love this location because of the easy access to so many activities: golf, boating, fishing, beaches. We love our neighbors in this quiet, safe community. They watch the house and keep in contact with us when we are back in Maryland. Sanibel Island is so great for shelling. No one comes home empty handed. Fort Myers beach is a wonderful place to lunch while watching the ocean. There are so many activities available in the area that no one is ever bored. We enjoy just lounging on the lanai and watching the fish jump in the canal. Very relaxing!

What makes this property unique

Having river & canal views in a spacious home with a extra large lanai. This home is breath taking and so relaxing with plenty of room to spread out. Being close to the Memorial bridge it is conveniently close to everything however the neighborhood has no through traffic so it creates a quiet and tranquil atmosphere.
