The place worked out well for us for a short 2-day stay. The weather worked out and we got to enjoy the deck and the fire pit. Location is good in relation to the parks, highway, shopping, and restaurants, but still had a feel of being remote.
The staff were so great and the cabin was a dream! We stayed in the middle of Oct. They reached out a week before with the activities at the campground. Which included a trick or treat, costume contest and dance party. We were thankful we got early notice we could bring the kids costumes amd they had a blast. The kids loved the activities, the putt putt basketball, and the blob.
We will highly recommend this location to anyone wanting an extra awesome experience around Hocking hills.
We LOVED our time at Hilltop Resorts. The kids really enjoyed the jumping pillow! We liked mini golf and the playground as well. The cabin was great for us and 3 kids. Bunks and sleeping mats are smaller than a twin, but fine for them. It was clean, but there was dog hair and dust left around the edges of the floor. Location was super because it's close to Logan and within 20 minutes of Hocking Hill sites. I would recommend and stay again!
Our cabin was very clean and was supplied with a lot of extras (bodywash, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower) comfy pillows, lots of blankets, tin foil and plastic wrap, some seasonings (garlic powder, salt and pepper).
The neighborhood was very quiet. The location was great, midway between town and Hocking Hills. I loved the large deck with the fire pit and grill. Would highly recommend this cabin.
Well kept, staff is very nice & responsive. Property is well maintained. Great location to Logan, Walmart, restaurants & the trails. Very clean, although we had a problem with ants in one room, which can happen in such a setting.
The cabin was amazing. The campground was super cute and my daughter (4) loved the playground and the bounce pad and everything else they had on site. Super close to everything.
very clean and organized and really appreciated the wood and ice delivery to our cabin. Kids enjoyed the play area and mini golf.Great stay, great time
This cabin worked perfect for our family of 5. The cabin was super clean and comfortable. Had all the amenities that we needed, including a box fan in the loft. The deck space was very spacious for our nightly campfire and eating. The campground was clean and had many options of things to do for our family and kids. Our kids especially loved the jumping pillow and basketball hoop! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to hike the trails!
Our stay at HilltopResort was absolutely wonderful from booking through checkout. The resort hosts are all fantastic! As soon as we arrived we received a welcome text and were able to communicate via text for any needs throughout our five night stay! The cabin was cozy but perfect for a family of 5 plus a dog. We had everything we needed for our stay. Close proximity to all hiking trail, an awesome brewery, beach, and stores. Beds were very comfortable but we were glad we brought our own pillows.
A must stay if you visit! Best service, very peaceful and family friendly. We loved the weekend activities and the bounce pad for kids! We will
Be back!
We really enjoyed our stay at Hilltops. We fekt at home immediately. The cabin was perfect, my littles loved the loft, the deck was great to sit on, kitchen had everything we needed. Put-put and the “blob” at the top of the hill were both so much fun. We hung out in the clubhouse and the kids loved the ping-pong table. Location was great, we hiked all over Hocking Hills and then enjoyed returning to the air-conditioned cabin. Great, well-managed, quiet resort. My kids are already asking to come back. Loved it!
My family and I wanted to plan a quick weekend trip. Hocking Hills was a wonderful choice. 126 Zonetail was a great pick! While it was small, it did not feel that way once inside. It was very cozy and comfortable.
The cabin was well maintained and clean. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and ample sleeping areas. Our cabin was the only one with a large deck/seating area! Great plus!!
The manager and assistant manager were very helpful (issue with CO2 monitor upon arrival -faulty device) and accommodating.
I reached out to the owner a week before our arrival, and she was very responsive and answered all of my questions and concerns.
While it rained the majority of the time we were there, we were able to make the trails, Cedar Falls, petting zoo, and cookout. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back.
Thank you!

Great place to stay
Overall stay was nice & very enjoyable! Location of cabins were a little closer together than what we expected & the price per bundle of wood was a bit high for the amount you got. Layout of the cabin was really cool.! It was very peaceful & everything is fairly close to the resort as well. Cleanliness wise everything was great outside inside the surfaces were nice & clean however I would suggest moving appliances more often. Overall had a really good stay! Thank you for having us. We will definitely consider staying again.
We so enjoyed our stay at the Zonetail cabin! It was a great distance from both Hocking Hills and Downtown Logan, and was very clean and cozy. We would definitely come back again and wish we could've stayed longer!
