Amazing property and location

Highly recommend this house. Beautiful property and close to the village that has amazing taverns (restaurants). We stayed away from the seaside locations and went into the village (about 15 min walk) for all meals - locals were terrific. Highly recommend the location and this property.

A great place to spend your summer vacation

Villa Mare was excellent, with large, generous spaces. The kitchen is big with some of the small appliances a bit out of date, but there is no need to spend time cooking with so many restaurants around. The pool is wonderful, our kids enjoyed it the most. The beach nearby is really nice, as well, even though there are better ones around the island worth checking out. Marinos was nice to wait for us at the Villa even though we were late, as our plane was delayed, and he always answered our inquiries promptly.

Misleading listing and images

2 families, stayed in October 2022. Villa could be so good, but they "forgot" to mention that they built a wall in the middle of the shared pool, dividing it in between 2 properties. Main reason we booked the villa was because of the size of the pool kids could play in, so the disappoitment was huge when we arrived. We complained to host and were offered 100EUR in compensation or free cancellation. Well, not easy to find fair size villa the same day in the beginning of October, so we decided to stay. We refused 100Eur and filed formal complaint to VRBO. After such disappointing arrival, it was impossible not to notice that "luxury" villa has not been properly maintained for some time - hole in the mosquito net, buttons falling of kitchen ventilator, many ugly marks on the floor, cheap white plastic sun beds (not the fancy wooden ones seen in listing), no sunbed cushions provided, rust on the saircase, painting falling off the staircase banister, rust and dirt in the bathroom, torn roller blind. We were looking forward to relax by the beautiful pool area they advertise with, but neither us or the kids wanted to spend time here, so we spent holiday driving to different beaches. I will NOT recommend to book this property
