Our family really love the stay. Really quiet and beautiful area and close to the North shore. The place has some nice updates. Convenient Bar/Restaurant next to the property. 100% recommended.
Very happy with our stay. Spacious and clean. If you are looking to be out of the city and near atv trails, this is perfect. Bonus, there is a great restaurant and bar attached.
Great place to stay for a guys snowmobile weekend. Bedrooms, bar/restaurant (great food and service) and 24 hour gas on site. Looking forward to staying here again next season.
I liked the two story property, the amount of bedrooms was great and being able to order food from the bar and working with the staff there was wonderful. It was a great location out of the business of the north shore but close to all the sites.
This was a great property that offers an affordable get away in a great location! It worked perfectly for our family get away with kids & grand kids. Plenty of space for everyone to relax after a long day, adults downstairs & children upstairs. I would definitely stay here again & recommend to others!

A nice place within resonable distance of lots of north shore destinations. It really sleeps 10, has a full kitchen, gas grill and utensils. Good beds and bedding, towels are provided, decent internet and a TV for rainy days or late nights, and an adjacent restaurant and bar. You will hear the bar kitchen during the day, which we didn't mind. The food is good, some c-store supplies and off-sale liquor available.
Overall very nice place. Everything you need, comfortable beds, new bathrooms! Attached to bar restaurant, good food friendly staff. 24/7 gas. Would recommend!
My son was graduating from UMD. Duluth "proper" was crazy busy, so we greatly enjoyed this VRBO away from the hussle and bussle. Nick was an amazing communicator, and went out of his way to make sure our stay was to our liking. The food next door was FANTASTIC and everyone working was beyond pleasant. We WILL be going back in the future!

Nice but to far away
The property was nice. The mosquitoes were awful though. They seemed to be getting in the house from somewhere. Bedrooms were nice. Livingroom/Kitchen was also nice. Wished it had more then one shower though. The bar/restaurant attached was also excellent. Very nice staff over there.
Stayed for a weekend with friends on a motorcycle trip through the north shore. Nice to have the rooms upstairs and the kitchen living area on the lowered level. We enjoyed the attached bar and grill for breakfast and dinner. The owner was great and very responsive.
We stayed for a long weekend with 4 adults and 4 children (12, 10, 6 and 4). It was very comfortable and had plenty of room for everyone. Had lots of fun fishing off the dock. Rented canoes from UMD and went on rides on Smith Lake right across the street. It was lovely to be out in nature but have Duluth a short drive away for day trips. Highly recommended!
This is a great place to stay. Bedroom were all good except 2 did not have a window a/c but we did not use those rooms. TV in living room was a little small but we were not there very long in the evenings. Restaurant was an excellent place to eat and the owners son was out waiter and he was excellent both nights!
The only other issue was the mosquitoes were trouble in the evening so we could not sit out on the deck at all!
But over all very happy with everything!
It was a very nice place to stay. Lots of bedrooms for all the family.
Comfortable beds and each bedroom had its own window air conditioner.
Great food at the attached restaurant!
Fishing docks nearby and the Grandkids were able to catch quite a few fish!
Definitely recommend staying here.
This place was a great place to stay. It is always hard to find a place that fits large families for a reasonable price, and this place accommodated all of the family needs. I will say there wasn’t enough stools for the table for the amount of us that were there or silverware that was in the kitchen. Rooms where great except the noise from the bar can be heard in 2 of the bedrooms. Overall a great stay.
