Perfect location!

Within an easy walk to the historic downtown, shops, restaurants! We ended up bringing my 2yr old grandson; the rollout trundle bed was perfect for him! We loved the fenced in front yard where he could play while we watched the horse carriages go by. We spent one day at the beach-right by Splash Park at the pier - great spot! The Project Swing Park was an amazing park, also within a walk. We enjoyed the big sofa and TV and the end of a long day. Lovely house and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

VERY nice home!

This home is perfectly located for everything you would want to do in St Augustine. Once we arrived we never had to use our car. Everything was well within walking distance. The house itself was very clean and well decorated. The outside has a lovely sitting area within a fenced yard. Was nice to sit there after a long day of walking and relaxed. Would highly recommend!

Great house, great location

We enjoyed this house very much. The photos on the listing are accurate. Nicely appointed and well stocked with supplies. The fenced front yard worked well for our border Collie. One of the better short term rentals that we have stayed in.

Great home in a great location!

We stayed here for 5 nights over new years and it was so nice being downtown and walk to restaurants! The house is very cozy and clean and plenty of room for our family of 4. The kids and our dog really enjoyed the fenced in yard as well! When we come back to St. Augustine, we will definitely stay here again if available. Thank you so much!

Lovely house in convenient location

Beautiful house, well-furnished, fully supplied, extremely convenient location from which you can walk to anything in the historic district or Flagler college. Nicely set up for a family or group of friends to use as a base for visiting St. Augustine; would definitely stay here again.

Great location but people left because of beds

This house's greatest asset was its location. We could walk to everything in downtown St. Augustine. The king bed had to be one of the worst beds to sleep on. There was no support from the mattress and when you sat on it, you would sink about 1-2 feet down. When lying in the bed your head feet were elevated as your body sank into the mattress, making it impossible to sleep. This couple left after one day because their backs hurt so much. Ruined an otherwise nice stay.

The location is right downtown. Walk everywhere. There is enough space for 6 adults to sleep comfortably. Has a nice small kitchen. We cooked breakfast and dinner a few of our nights here very easily. The place was clean and communication with the owners was quick and easy. Would definitely stay here again. Great place

Location! Location!

We had a great stay in the bungalow. Our vacation in St. Augustine was for 5 days and this home was perfect for us. Listing is just as pictured. The front was perfect for our dog which we were able to let her walk around since it is fenced. 5-9 minute walk to restaurants, etc. Location is GREAT!

Awesome Bungalow, perfect location!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Bungalow for our birthday celebrations and long-awaited visit to St Augustine! Virginia's welcome and birthday note, as well as the bottle of wine from a local winery, were thoughtful touches that made our stay even more special. Virginia was also very accommodating, allowing us back into the rental when we realized we forgot an important item and needed to retrieve it after we left. The Bungalow was beautiful, comfortable and well-updated, and it ranked highly among the many locations we've rented through VRBO. The location was perfect, we easily walk to historic attractions, restaurants, and shops. The well-equipped kitchen was also a plus, allowing us to prepare a few meals during our stay. For future visits to St Augustine, we hope the bungalow will be available so we may rent it again. Thanks again Virginia!

Wonderful 1-week Stay

This property was very clean, and had a well equipped kitchen. The description was very accurate. Our small dog had fun in the fenced front yard running after the many trollies and horse drawn carriages that come by the house. We are walkers and we walked into the historic area of St.Augustine every day. No driving or paid parking required if you enjoy walking. St. George street is very close with many restaurants and shopping. For us, the waterfront was close by. Also all the historical sites were close . We highly recommend this home.

Great Spot to stay & play

The property was clean & recently remodeled. Virginia was easy to reach & very helpful. We traveled with our dog & because she was raised as a companion dog she goes everywhere with us. I brought furniture covers for the areas she covets. This made clean up a breeze. We had access to a great washer & dryer. Loved the storage areas in the closet & hallway. We kept our sandy shoes out on the covered back porch. Virginia let us store our bikes in the garage while our car stayed in the driveway out of sight from the main road. Our host was quick to answer any ? Or concerns we had. She was very pleasant, accommodating & helpful. We stayed mid Jan through most of February The weather was cool for Floridians but pleasant for us Vermonters escaping winter. We did turn on the heat a few days but we also used the AC. Temp controll was easy. I can’t say enough good things about our host and our stay. I have not even started raving about the location. We were not even a full block from the ancient city. Just a few blocks from St George St. We biked to all the sightseeing spots and only needed our car for walks on the beach & groceries. We spent 5 weeks and loved every minute of our stay. You do hear the tour trolly going by out front. However we loved seeing the horse & buggies pass by while sipping a glass of wine in the evening My husband loves to chat & he soon made friends with the regulars in the hood. Across the st is a parking area. The people who work there have adopted the a few stray cats from the area. They are now spayed/neutered have updated shots & are cared for by the staff while free to roam. I learned this from my husband who struck up conversations with area residents & gate keepers. On the other hand the back yard and porch are always peaceful spots to relax. Flagler Collage & students are in the area. It is a beautiful school worth visiting for the history and architecture alone. The fact that it is a college full of young bright & interesting people would have escaped me if I didn’t run into students around town and strike up conversations. You do see them out & about running to class and lounging on campus in their free time. But as one student described their vibe to me they are a chill campus. We enjoyed the diversity of people all were pleasant and positive. I hope you get the chance to visit this area and stay here in the Down Town Historic District.

Nights of Lights

Our family of five, plus two dogs, had the most memorable stay during The Nights of Lights. The house is an adorable cottage just a block away from wonderful restaurants and entertainment. The Historic District is right outside the front door. We spent a week walking Old Town and admiring the Victorian and Spanish style architecture dressed up for the holidays and felt like we were locals. There was a very nice bottle of San Sebastián wine that greeted our arrival. The home was so beautifully updated and equipped with everything we needed for comfort. Loved hearing my grown children complimenting how much they enjoyed the cottage and it’s location. Best memories ever!!!💙❤️❤️❤️💙

Hello fellow traveler! We fell in love with St Augustine on our very first visit many years ago. Since then, it has been our goal to one day call St Augustine our permanent home. Until that day comes, we have loved spending our vacations here and sharing our home and the city we love with travelers like us. In the last year, we have put our love, our time and care to updating this 1950s bungalow and are so excited to finally be able to share it with guests and greatly hope you will love it as much as we do. We not only take pride in our home but also in caring for our guests and are happy to share all of the tips we have learned on this great charming little city throughout all of our years of staying here. We look forward to having you as our guest!

Why they chose this property

Location location and did we say location?! Not only is it located less than a minute from the historic quarter, but we have also taken great care to update it and ensure that whatever you may need during your stay you will have and will feel welcomed and taken care of as if it were your own home. We also offer free parking for two cars, which allows you to get to the many nearby beaches in less than 15 minutes.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with this property for its central location. We are located across the street from Flagler College campus, on both the trolly and horse carriage routes, less than one block away from the historic quarter which makes us feel like we are right in the middle of everything no matter the season.
