Nice Property - Great Location

I have been to Galveston at least 15 times but never been this far East on the island... If you haven't stayed on East Beach you are missing out... The property was very clean and had all the things we needed...

Beautiful and relaxing. A great experience!

We enjoyed a lovely stay for a few nights before a cruise. The rental was clean and cozy with amazing views of the gulf coast. Hope to return for another visit next time we cruise from Galveston. Can’t recommend it enough for other couples.

A beautiful view and comfy stay

The view was beautiful. Got glimpses of the effects of the sunset on the clouds. Nice roomy balcony. Rooms were spacy. Only complaint was the sofa. It’s cushions were sinky and the sofa bed was just springs. That said I would stay here again.

This unit was wonderful! The decor was coordinated and not overly “beachy” which some places tend to be!! The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils you could possibly need! We would definitely stay here again!!

Galveston respit

The Galvestonian is a great place to stay! Close to the beach and the ship channel. Our room was great. The balcony overlooks the beach and you’re close enough to hear the waves and enjoy the views. Nice place to stay and escape the daily grind.

We loved the condo and definitely will be back. Only thing we would say is that the lock on the door was very loose and needed to be fixed. Maybe more bath towels and kitchen towels would be small things. But overall was a wonderful weekend and will be back

Only problem was that Ryson Mgmt did not notify the Galvestonian that we were coming, which just added a few minutes to our check in... otherwise a beautiful place and lovely condo.

Great getaway

We stayed at this property 25 years ago, so we enjoyed a short getaway here. The upkeep and upgrades through the years are apparent. The beach is not crowded AT ALL this time of year and is easily accessed. Property personnel are SO helpful. All in all, a good experience.

This condo is very well decorated and designed. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was comfortable for our family of four. The view is spectacular and the amenities are top notch. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Well manicured grounds. The location is unbeatable as it is right on the beach. We plan to come back and make this our regular stay.

Great property and great location

The property is located on the east end of Galveston, and is part of a high-rise condo. It is a great place and it is exactly as advertised. Nicely appointed condo with all the capabilities of being able to cook. 10 minutes to almost anywhere on the east side of Galveston. 15 minutes to Gaidos, or any other place in the center of the island. Beautiful views, and highly recommended.

This condo was one of the best we have stayed in and we have stayed in many. Quieter as it was not a pool area. Furniture was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Bed was quite comfortable. TV and sound bar were GREAT! The view couldn’t be better. It’s Excellent!

Great Location and View . . . Unit Itself Just OK

The location of the property was great, as was the oceanfront view. Pool and hot tub were very nice, and staff were friendly and helpful. Currently, only one of the three elevators at the Galvestonian are working and apparently it's been that way for the past month. This was pretty inconvenient with long waits up and down and did not allow for access to the lower level to walk to the beach. Since my spouse uses a scooter, this was a bit of a problem. Would not recommend the property in general until the situation is corrected. The bed in our unit was very uncomfortable, as was the pull out sleeper sofa, which was disappointing. It would be worth upgrading both for future guests.

409 Pelican @ the Galvestonian

Wonderful, cozy condo. Perfect for couples. Mostly quiet til the last day (unsupervised kids). Nicely decorated condo with a great firm mattress. The grounds are gorgeous and the beach is well kept. Nice pool and hot tub; watch out for children hogging it. Only wish the Galvestonian still allowed the renters to use the laundry facilities. Try the laundromat at Broadway & 23rd. Overall, a lovely condo and a beautiful setting.

We loved it. The only issue was the faucet in the kitchen was very wobbly. Called Ryson to have someone fix it but no one came to fix it. It needed to be tighten up. Other than that we loved it

Great place, but with some issues.

The Gavestonian property is great. There were some mechanical issues in the room that should be addressed. Such as a loose faucet, disconnected bed frame, and broken chains you need to close the blinds (i.e. no privacy). But, I'm planning on coming back next year. Hopefully, those things will be corrected by then.
