Living in a wooden sculpture: welcome to the Ufogel! This is no off-the-peg home, rather a living sculpture that turns out to be a space saver when it enters. A generous, bridge-like access as the only connection to the seemingly floating building. When sitting in the Ufogel, lying, or eating together, two things are always present: the wood and the sky.





Located in Nußdorf, about 1 km from the Zettersfeld Ski Area, is a beautifully designed wooden house with large windows and panoramic views of the Lienz Dolomites. The Ufogel is an extraordinary house, comfortably furnished and made almost entirely of larch wood. Its shape gives this building its name. Sometimes it looks like a primitive bird, sometimes like a living object from another star, but always something special. The Ufogel offers both openness and security. The large panoramic window brings in the landscape and gives the feeling you are still in the open air. In contrast, the round bowl provides a cozy, woody feeling of security. It transforms the Ufogel into a "shelter", with all its warmth and sanctity, with sound sleep and the feeling of returning to the origin of living.





The ideal occupancy in the Ufogel is two adults and 2 - 3 children.

The nearest shop and restaurant are 500 meters away. Within a 5-minute walk you will find a tennis court and a sauna. Lienz Train Station is 2 km from the house. The Ufogel can be reached by car all year round, there are plenty of parking spaces right next to the hut. If you need help during your holiday, the next door hawker will be happy to help.
