Pack light, because this beautifully designed home has everything your family could want in a vacation cottage. Revel in this ideal, oceanfront location and catch amazing Outer Banks sunrises from the many furnished sundecks.

This oceanfront home features outstanding views and plenty of amenities. The well-equipped kitchen, with granite countertops, will delight the chef of your crew. Outside, you can indulge in a post-beach swim in the pool, a soak in the private hot tub, or an afternoon barbecue on the grill. The fun continues in the game room, with a pool table, a TV, and a granite-topped wet bar.

On movie nights, relax in front of the TV with a home-theater stereo system. There are seven TVs (all of the bedrooms have smart TVs), a DVD player, a stereo/CD player, and free high-speed WiFi for your laptop.

When it's time to retire, retreat to one of the five bedrooms (including four primary bedrooms), each of which has access to a furnished deck. The second-floor primary bedroom has ocean views while the top-floor primary bedroom features a private sundeck.

Awesome place and stay

Our whole week was fantastic! The house was clean and well stocked with dishes and pots and pans! The beds were all comfortable! The entry was so easy! The pool and hot tub were great! We definitely will be back again! The only thing we would suggest is leaving a couple extra rolls of toilet paper!

Wonderful family property!!

We met my adult kids at this property and it was a perfect vacation. The house was just like we imagined it to be. The pictures didn’t do it justice. Clean, well placed and perfect. Rebooking for next year.

Awesome beach access and amenities!!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was great to be so close to the beach and have the pool and hot tub at home as well. If the owner could add a runner or rug of some sort water absorbing item outside of the bottom exit, 2 people fell when exiting the hot tub. Other than that we had a fantastic stay and would come back!!

The view was awesome! Relaxing stay with the family. Had everything we needed. Home is dated and could use a refresh. Appliances are old. Washer took forever to wash and rinse cycle doesn’t work. Living room Furniture has stains and needs deep cleaning. However great size and good place for a family.

Family Beach Vacation

My extended family of 9 stayed at this location and it was great! We enjoyed all the amenities and was plenty of room to spread out with 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms. I loved the large dining table that we could all sit down at and have a meal or play games! Thank you for a great stay! Would recommend to anyone!

Relaxing Stay

While the weather wasn't the best, we still enjoyed the lovely beach views and relaxing home. The hot tub was wonderful and when we did have good weather, the short walk down to the beach was perfect. Comfortable beds and clean home. The wifi and TVs were great for our really rainy day. :)

Family reunion

The house was remote from Nag's Head, Kitty Hawk or any other tourist area. It is on the beach but has a very steep climb over the dunes. There is a boardwalk a long walk on the beach, or driving from the house that makes it easier to access the beach. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and the house certainly served our needs. The kitchen has everything you would need dishes, pots/pans, utensils, etc. There were no condiments but we left ours for the next renter when we left. Overall, a good place to stay with family.

Beautiful sunset!

We had a wonderful time. Swam in the pool and loved the hot tub. We chose it so everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Walked to Morris Cafe and DQ.

4 Day vacation with 3 other couples

It was nice for all 4 couples to have a king bed and bathroom. The house is 4/5 level house with no elevator. Was tough lugging kitchen items and bags up 3/4 flights of stairs. Next door had an external lift for bags/groceries/etc.

Spacious home

The house was spacious. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and shower which was a major plus! We loved the hot tub and pool. The pool heat worked well and was worth the added cost. Cleaning could have been better. It was very dusty and there were several popsicle sticks and wrappers left behind. We saw a cockroach near the pool table. The dune was extremely steep. I'm sure this helps with flooding but WOW, it was a workout walking to the beach. It was too difficult to take a beach wagon up/down the dunes.

2nd year in a row came into a filthy house

House was not cleaned, leftover fish bait was left in the fridge downstairs. No one went through this house to clean it, and no one inspected it after the cleaning crew left. We had to clean and vacum the entire house by ourselves. I spoke with Vacasa about getting a reimbursement for the cleaning and it has been 3 days and no one has reach out to me regarding it as they said they would. This was our second year in the same house and we wasted the first day of our vacation cleaning just as we did the year before. I’m not sure if same problem occurs with other rental companies but will definitely try using someone else next year.

A Family Vacation

I will start out with the positive. The beach is a pretty easy walk and it is beautiful. Everyone enjoyed spending time there! The pool was nice as well. Many hours of family time there. We also enjoyed the hot tub! The house was spacious and had room for all of us to do our own thing or hang together for meals or games. Now the negatives. We were disappointed that there wasn’t a grill available for us to use. We knew that coming in but I thought I’d mention it. The outside is in desperate need of some love. There were weeds growing up through the patio around the pool and the front yard was in need of love as well. All in all we enjoyed our time there very much. The location is great but make sure you bring your groceries with you since it’s a bit of a drive to the grocery store.

Horrible management

Specifically wanted a home with a heated pool. Confirmed with their management co that we would have it prior to arrival. They states it would be turned on24-28 hrs in advance. Upon check in pool is freezing. All week promises someone would come out. No one ever did. They state once they place a “ticket” with the local team that is all they can do. This home is managed by Vacasa if you look them up you can see all the negative reviews. This was a very upsetting week as we had no heated pool and this was very important for us. It was the only reason we booked this home. The hot tub was a joke. Dirty rotted clip to remove ( almost impossible) then a very heavy covering with a broken bracket to try and place cover on. Took 2 men to remove. But the water was … not very clean. Location for area is great. I feel for the owner paying this management co who does not show up. Were there for 6 nights.

Great first time experience at OBX

This was my family’s first vacation to the Outer Banks and I am in love with the location! This house was a nice size for our family of 6 adults and 3 kids all under the age of two. The private pool was very nice and it was just a short walk up over the dune to the beach. I will say the up hill hike was a good workout…lol Over all the house was nice, but the carpets and living room furniture could use an update or good cleaning. Granted, we visited at the end of the season, so I’m not sure how it looked at the beginning. Cookware could also use an update (bring your own frypan, crockpot and air fryer) and hopefully they will replace the broken toaster. There were plenty of mixing/storage bowls and the bakeware was plentiful and nice! We also appreciated the 3 mini-fridges that we used for beverages. Helpful hints - if you are new to the Waves location, there is not much there in the way of restaurants and the closest large grocery store is 20 min south in Avon, but we used the online order feature for that FoodLion and just picked up the groceries the day we arrived - so nice! Also, since check-in is so late, we thought we would hang out at Waterman’s Bar and Grill, but there was no inside seating, it was crowded(everyone had the same idea) and the sun was beating down on everyone sitting outside - but fun with an 18 month old toddler. If you have a wifi enabled baby monitor or other type of device that has trouble connecting to the WiFi, contact the Internet provider(number is on the fridge) and they will be happy to help! Over all, we would recommend this house!
