Welcome to Seascape! This charming home sits quietly just a few lots back from the ocean in Hatteras Village. Seascape is cozy, comfortable, and convenient for your next trip to the beach! Tucked back in a quiet neighborhood, you'll also find an outdoor shower and a fish-cleaning station. A flight of stairs directs you to the entrance on the backside of the home. Here, you have a covered deck with a picnic table and multiple entries into the living and kitchen areas. An extended flight of stairs leads you to the eagle's nest with astonishing ocean views.

Inside, you'll find a bright, spacious living area and a laid-back kitchen with a dining room table and breakfast bar. An oversized sectional and a comfortable rocking chair center around a smart TV, providing the perfect setting to gather with the beach in the background. The primary bedroom features a full en suite bathroom. All bedrooms have smart TVs.

Lovely island home

The Seascape Cottage has an open floor plan that made the main living area bright and airy. The king bed was comfortable. The house is a short walk from the beach and the top deck has an impressive view of the sunset.

Excellent location

The home is in a excellent location. It is close to everything you need. From the upper deck you have a view of the ocean. You can hear the waves at night and early morning. My family and myself had a wonderful time. We would definitely stay here again.

Seascape cottage vacation

Seascape cottage was very pleasant with lots of natural light and happy beach colors. The beds were comfortable. I was pleased that we were allowed to rent from a Friday to a Wednesday which made it quite affordable and worked with my schedule (I am required to work every other Saturday and Sunday at my job). The location was nice with a very easy walk to the beach.

Great Place to Relax

The rental was just as the listing showed it, and the location was perfect. It was actually closer to the beach than I'd expected. I'd definitely stay there again.

Friends trip to Hatteras

Our group of two couples and a 3 year old stayed here for a week and enjoyed it very much. Highlights for us were the screened porch, the close beach access, quiet neighborhood, outdoor shower and the eagles nest deck for sunset views. I would note that the shared pool you have access to with this property is located in Avon at the Vacasa office which is a 27min drive from the house. We were excited to have a pool for our 3 year old, but an hour round trip just doesn’t make sense so we stuck to the beach. We had a great week!

The location is great. The floors, living room furniture, and kitchen appliances were very nice. Master bed was comfortable. The house has very little room to store anything. The shower in the master bathroom is for someone very short!!

Great cottage

We really enjoyed staying at the Seascape. We were there the week prior to Labor day 2023. We even easily rode out the tropical storm that made Thursday wet and windy. I would suggest they fix the soft spot in the hallway floor by the refrigerator. TV remotes were also a little wired but we figured it out. All of our dealings and communication with VACASA were excellent.

It was sufficient and all we needed for a long weekend

We didn't expect five star accommodations at this price point so we weren't disappointed. It was cleaner than I expected considering it was the end of the vacation season. Beds were clean and very comfortable, kitchen was stocked enough to cook a meal. Great fridge. Plenty of clean bath towels/washcloths. Trundle under bunk was perfect. Location was perfect for us. We didn't mind the two minute walk to beach. Great view from upper platform. Plenty of hot water for lots of showers. Outdoor shower was a big plus and more comfortable than inside showers. Thankful for iron/board as we were there for a wedding and everything needed ironed. Plenty of seating in LR and DR. Love the screened in porch as there was standing water in streets from rain and mosquitoes were an issue. AC was a little too cold and couldn't be adjusted so we turned it off for a bit then back on. Bathrooms are painfully small. Things you may want to bring along: cookie sheet that fits in oven if you plan on baking. Yes, we wanted to make bacon and biscuits in the oven. Cookie sheet provided too big. Hair dryer. Needs a full length mirror if dressing to go out or to wedding. No closet in BR with double bed. Have to use someone else's closet to hang clothes. Comforters could definitely use a good disinfecting. They were dirty. Take a few kitchen towels/washcloth. We only had one small kitchen towel and no draining board. Soft spot in floor by AC unit needs repaired. Typical affordable beach house but clean.

Beautiful location, Needs a deep clean

This house was the perfect size for our family and in the perfect location - only 3 houses from the beach! We loved being able to bike into town and go exploring. When we arrived, it appeared as though the house had sat vacant for some time. There was a thick layer of dust under the beds and tables and a strong musty/moldy odor. The showers had a few stray hairs and signs of not being cleaned very well. There were cracks and peeling paint on the top of the back wall showing previous water damage. Vacasa staff quickly came out to inspect the walls and assured me that the damage had occurred in the past and the walls were not currently wet. My son and I have mold allergies and we both had headaches soon after arriving in the house. Fortunately the weather was nice and we didn't have to spend much time in the house. With a thorough deep cleaning and some mold remediation this house would be wonderful.

Nice location

We loved the location, screened porch. The bathrooms are a lot smaller than they appear in the photos. We had to have maintenance come hook up the outdoor shower/water hose. It was cleaner than the house we had last year with Outer Beaches, but there was still some things that could've been cleaner.
