Featuring a colorful array of wall art and fixtures, the dreamy main includes a cloudscape en suite complete with a luxurious soaking tub, spacious shower, and walk-in closet. The furnished loft space features a sunny rec room (with a sink and vanity), a cozy sitting area with a selection of books and games, and additional sleeping accommodations. High-speed WiFi allows you to connect with loved ones and share highlights during your amazing stay.

Perfect relaxation

This place was just what we needed to escape the heat and hustle and bustle of the city. Secluded but close to town. Great views. Spacious. Crisp air and lots of quiet.

Balance of convenience and privacy

When you’re at the house, you feel like you’re away from the hustle and bustle. But in reality, you’re 8 minutes from the resort, restaurants, grocery store, and everything else in town. The air jet bathtub in the master is so relaxing. House had everything I need, including a mental escape from the intensity of work life. Great time, and hope to go back sometime.

Great house, great location. Minutes to town and ski resort, but enough out in the country we saw deer and coyote most days.

Peaceful, lovely place to be

We loved the location. It was so quiet and beautiful views. The house was very spacious and comfortable. There is a gorgeous view everywhere you looked. It was also close to Angel Fire and not too far from Red River. We are looking forward to coming back. I will say the cleaning could use a bit of help. There were dead flies all over the carpet, sink and window areas. They also left no laundry soap so we had to go buy some. Otherwise, great home and we appreciated it.

Bare minimum

Terrible directions difficult to find markers...do not try to find at night. Not enough towels, blankets, hard as rock pillows, bed so soft you sunk in and couldn't move. No heat in main bathroom which had full wall windows on 2 walls so extremely cold showers with no door on shower and no heat. Kitchen did not have pans etc. big enough to cook for 8 people. Tiny glasses to drink out of . Views wonderful, space was wonderful, plenty of space for adults and kids. Very clean. Easy commute to ski area, If you bring your own heater for bathroom linens and some extra large cooking for big groups, it is a great place to stay.

Nice house on a pretty property

Our family had a good vacation staying at this house. It is a large house on a nice property that worked good for our family to meet at. It could use some updates like carpets and furniture, but we still enjoyed our stay.

Review

Property manager was horrible as far as communication and no one with guest services could help with issues. The showers need updated and there was dead flys everywhere and mice poop in the draw with the kitchen dish towels. Could not get the door to lock when trying to leave the property.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We had the best time getting away to the mountains for a quick fall babymoon. The house was perfectly secluded with amazing views but still only 10 minutes from the town. Being 7 months pregnant the tub was everything I could have dreamed of. There was just enough wild life (deer and bunnies) around for the fun mountain experience without being overwhelming. The house already had a roku stick for the TV and the internet worked great. We drove to Taos one day and Red River another day so the location was perfect for exploring options. We loved how cozy the house was and wish we had a group of friends there with us so we will definitely be going back!

Perfect mountain getaway.

Absolutely lovely property. Very quiet, with fantastic views. The house is arranged nicely with plenty of space. There are large open windows where watching the sun come up was a real treat. The wrap around deck was perfect. Our dog even loved it. It's a quiet, peaceful place. We have a wonderful week here. From a rental perspective, our stay was excellent as well. It is dog friendly, so we took ours. The place was neat, clean, and in order when we arrived. We did have some trouble locating the place...it is a quiet mountain house after all...but after a couple of phone calls the management company got us there. The second lady I spoke with was especially helpful. My teenager found himself a great little spot downstairs that was like the perfect kid cave. Altogether it was a perfect stay for us and exactly what I was looking for.

Lovely secluded cabin

The cabin was very nice, it was secluded and very nice scenery with a nice family of deer. We had good amount of room, the stairs were a little wobbly and the cleanliness of the home was a little on the neglected side. Some of the bedding had not been changed and was covered with black hair, the laundry room was quite smelly!

Quiet Home outside of Angel Fire

Home has great views, is private and has lots of forested space around it. Plenty of room for 6 to 8 people. Has outdoor grill and good indoor kitchen.

House met our family of 4 needs. 2 adults and 2 (almost) grown kids. Location was great. Secluded but close to town. House was not very clean and appliances need updating. Some outside furniture would have been nice also.

Secluded Mountain Retreat
