Cute and well located

The apartment was cute, clean, and well appointed. The loft was great for my girls but it does have a low ceiling so although the peak was tall, anyone over 5’5” might find it a little low. The neighbors were quiet & so was the neighborhood even though we were very close to downtown & the magazine street shopping area. There was plenty of on street parking and the owner was very responsive & helpful when I had questions.

Comfortable and Clean

A beautiful home that embedded us into the New Orleans community without feeling as though we were thrown into the big city. We walked to the convention center, a short drive or Uber to Bourbon Street, WW2 museum, and great dining. We made great memories with our family of 4 and everyone had their own space. I would definitely stay here again

NIce place but

The heater can't be controlled. Since heat rises the heat upstairs is too hot. Can't regulate by closing vents because my cousin couldn't close them. It was cold in NO so that was a problem. The gas stove had some problems because the pilot light didn't work and had to be lit with a match. My cousin knows more about this than I do and he couldn't get it to work without a match. The apartment is clean though and nice.

Very comfy and great location

My family, husband and two daughters, 18 and 24 stayed four days for some college visits. Great safe place to stay, very walkable, even after dark, to many cute restaurants and shopping and easy walk to catch the Trolley on St Charles. The place was open and spacious, the showers were hot for the four of us and the beds comfy. We even had some travel issues and were able to check in a day early. Host was wonderful and very responsive.

Beautiful property, short walk to the trolley. Host was easy to reach, when we couldn't figure out how to get in. Entry is in the side door, not the front. Great location!

Quick visit to Nola

Good location & comfy little place. I enjoyed sleeping in the upstairs retreat. Quick Uber to bourbon st one day & Dome for Eagles vs Saints game the other. Walking distance to some nice breakfast spots. Wifi iffy at best.

Nice, If You Don’t Plan to Sleep

Positives: The apartment itself is at the back of a house which has been converted into a triplex. The photos of furnishings are accurate. It’s beautifully decorated, historic. If you don’t mind a walk, location is fine. Museums are nearby, about half a mile. Riverwalk or French Quarter, 2-mile walk. Negatives: The shower handle in the master/downstairs bathroom was broken, so it was nearly impossible to turn the shower on and once we did, we couldn’t control temperature. Impossible to shower upstairs for adults as no one above 4-feet tall can stand in the loft. By far, the most frustrating part of the stay, due to which we checked-out early, is that an outdoor light from the neighboring house shines directly into the downstairs bedroom and flickers on/off every three seconds. All night long. Despite a shade in the window, it was impossible to sleep. Unfortunately, no one on the sofa bed or in the loft could sleep either, as the 6-foot long living-room window faces the interior of the adjacent apartment, so when the neighbors came home and turned on their lights at 1AM, the light shone directly into the living room and loft, which has no door. When I contacted the host about the shower, she offered to send someone next day. When I told her about the lighting issues and how impossible it was to sleep, she never replied. I realize it’s an issue with neighboring properties but it greatly impacts the quality of the stay to the point that we left and lost money.

Expected good but this was great

We loved our stay. The home was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for us to feel very comfortable. Everything we need was there. The location was better than we could have asked for. We loved walking to get dinner and coffee. Walmart was a short 5 minute drive. The listing was accurate but honestly I wish I could have given it more than a five star rating. I would love to come back and would most definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone who we know

Great place to stay

I booked the house for my partner and I, as well as another couple. The place was in a fantastic location with great food and vibe in the neighborhood. Incredibly safe area too! The host was super responsive and great answering questions or issues we went to her with during the stay. The house itself was great overall, there were some minor tweaks that can be made to make it even better. First thing is that the location of the checkin wasn’t super clear, but the host directed us to the spot quickly. Second, the fixture in the main bathroom downstairs was stuck on hot water for the first few days. My partner was able to fix it a few days in. Lastly and probably biggest issue was the WiFi. We had a ton of issues with getting connected to, and staying on the internet, which for people coming into town for a gaming tournament was a huge issue. In order to do anything we had to connect to our mobile hotspots. Honestly those are hopefully easily fixable issues that would make it a 5 star for sure. Once the WiFi is fixed, I would definitely stay there if the event we went to is held in NOLA next year!

Family Wedding

Owner is extremely nice and accommodating. The property was just as described and in a nice location. Property was very nice, very cool, and very clean. New Orleans is very hot and humid and some of the older homes cannot stay cool. However, this property has an excellent a/c unit!

The location and apartment are superb. Photos are accurate. Location is superb, well positioned in NOLA on quiet street and really close to Quarter, Frenchman Street, City Park, also WWII Museum - one can walk to. Kitchen/living room area is GREAT! great stay in new orleans!

This place was perfect for our wedding stay! We got married a short walk away and loved everything about this place. We rarely used the upstairs room (since the first floor was so much more spacious than we thought it would be. Dog friendly was a huge plus. We would stay again on future trips!

We came to the city for a medical conference but truly we just came for fun! We loved the neighborhood! The garden district is beautiful. The house was clean, adorable and perfect for a few days! The host was very responsive and quick to answer when we needed a thing or two! Would 100 percent stay there again it was close to everything and once again, we enjoyed exploring and drinking our way through town! Thank you!!!

Beautiful stay

Our stay was perfect. A great homey space off the crazy beaten path of NOLA. Close enough to everything to be convenient and far enough away to leave the crazy behind. So many cute nuances made this place beautiful in its own way. From the lighting fixtures to the oven to the loft .. the whole place was just wonderful.

Perfect location, amazing stay!

The place made our trip to Nola perfect. It’s close to everything, but feels tucked away on a quaint residential block. The apartment itself is super cute, clean, and has everything you need, including a nice outdoor space. No issues getting checked in, and the stairs to the loft area have been reworked and are no longer steep as mentioned in a previous review. The loft area serves as more than just a bedroom—it’s a great space in itself with a bathroom, shower, and closet. Hosts were accommodating and responsive.
